Remarks

It was through UPSEE but now it is through jee mains. You have to get a good rank in jee mains to get admission to this college. It is one of the best colleges in AKTU. For CSE you should have above 90 percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is also good. And faculty of this college is supportive. They help us not only in academics but also guide us about industry requirements. We have pdp classes every week which is for personality development

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Various companies visited last year including Amazon, TCS, DELLOITE, Wipro, gainsight, etc. Amazon gave 27 LPA packages to 25 students. The highest package was 1.13cr (off campus).

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable in the first year fees is around 1.4 lakh then from the second year it reduces to 1.2 lakh. So if we compare it with other colleges AKG is affordable. UP govt. Provide scholarships of about 50-60k. Total fees of BTech is around 5 lakh

Campus Life

Campus life is best. And sports facilities are provided in our college. There is seperate ground for different sports and coaches come on every alternate day. AKG is at the top in AKTU when we talk about sports. There are different technical societies like SI, BRL etc

Hostel Facilities

One of the best infrastructures with a neat and clean environment. Fees of the hostel are 1.05 lakh per year for triple seater including mess charge The food of the hostel is hygienic and the menu is also good. The room is also good they provide a table and chair 24*7 electricity, wifi etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
