Remarks

Eligibility for this course is Above 60% in your 10+2 All details are available on akgec.ac.in The selection process is done through jee mains percentile or Upsee percentile Reservation OBC AND EWS 10% SC AND ST 60% The admission is done through the Upsee counselling process through aktu university, some relief should be provided in fees submission

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because of my huge interest in coding The faculty and student ratio is good teachers are available a good number Most of the teachers hold doctorate deg and there is a teacher named Koushik midya sir who is done his phd from IIT Bombay Trust me there are a huge number of exams taking place every semester at least 2 sessional tests and 1 pre-university (internal) and if you study you can study better than average in one day which most engineers usually do.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 141756 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Internshala and some projects by some companies but not paid internships there are projects after every semester and some extra credits courses which provide you with better scopes in other fields also such as electronics, electrical, robotics, software.

Placement Experience

3.5

3rd-semester students are available for placements. 150+ companies visited colleges including amazon, adobe, Flipkart, cognizant, tcs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Qualcomm, etc. highest package(off campus)1.13 cr (in campus)32 lacs average package 4.5 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are fixed for 3 years so not much of a fee hike but yes it is one of the best colleges in aktu and a good campus you will get fees more than any other college in aktu. the scholarship is given by up govt to financially unstable students with around 52k

Campus Life

3.5

It is an army college type means regulated by retd military gen so you would get much of tech fest but no cultural fest is organised in college Books are available from the college and can issue book from the college library According to fees, there should be ac but there is no such facility available and washrooms are quite good classrooms are lecture theatres architecture and wifi is available at the library, Saksham the sports event (various sports) is organised and there are many extra co-curricular activities

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

More Information About AKGEC College

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
