Remarks

College was ok ok. Till you are a very mediocre student and no options don't go for this college. Placements are very poor for core streams. Management can be rated 6/10.

Entrance Preview

I wrote AIEEE scoring 82 percentiles. I was getting lots of options for a B grade engineering college but I was fond of rajasthan and after seeing the placement record of the college i joined arya college. College was decent in terms of placement at that time when I joined. But you know the scenario of 2012 and I was from electrical stream which made my life difficult. I was a good performer at college level but didn't get any placement from my college. They never tried to call core companies at that time and people have to join TCS.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum can be rated 6/10 as most of the electives were made mandatory and I was left with no choice to go for that course.

Internships Opportunities

We were not gone for any internship from any companies so there is no question for the stipend. Very few companies came for placements and yes for internship we have to search a company from own which I did from haridwar,BHEL, which was a very good experience.

Placement Experience

1.5

Hardly 5/6 companies came and some were local. Indian army - 5 lacs, TCS - 3.2 lacs,Accenture - 2.5 lacs, JK cement - 2.4 lacs.

College Events

3.5

In this column am happy to tell that lot of fests happened in our college. Almost we had at least a technical / cultural event organized in a period of 3 months. Technical events were also organized and people from different colleges used to participate. All events had at least 10-15 teams from different colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was feasible. I paid some 4.5 lacs for my enngineering, Rs. 43000 as college fee and Rs. 2000 as examination fee per semester. hostel costed nnear about 40k for a year for 3bhk including fooding.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships were available and also loan facilities were not available from college side. I havent heard any financial help from college side but yes ST/OBC were able to arrange scholarships ( Sources not known) but not for generals

Campus Life

2.5

We had a good campus life. Many sports events happened with a lot of verticals. Labs were pathetic as nothing was there to learn. Competitions were good as lot of robotics and other events happened

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel accomodation has adequate capacity. Rooms were also ok ok and can be rated 4/10. Nearby PGs cost 25-30 k at that time

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very poor. We even do not know the alumni's now. Though colllege initiated something for social networking of alumni's but I didn't browsed the site.

Exam Structure

Labs were very chill and nothing was there to learn. Exams were little bit difficult as RTU gives a lot of surprises but still it were on the easier side.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty i cant rate more than 4/10 as almost everyone were new in my professors with not a good experience and knowledge. Some of the streams had some qualified prof but they were not more than number of fingers in your hand

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate
