Remarks

Good remark - Cheap and Job affordance. Bad Remark - Since govt college, infrastructure is not good.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE, score was 25k rank all over india, course was Btech in Computer Science. I opted this as it is very easy to afford economically and it has 100% placement, that too very good jobs with companies like samsung, adobe, maruti etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is good, but since it is a govt college, teachers are not so much involved, other than few teachers. So everything will have to be done by student itself. Examination process is good, as fair assessment is done. Not like MDU where students are always afraid of neglect in exam checking

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I got multiple internships and chose to do the same in STMicroelectronics, where i got 18k as stipend. But internship is only for 6 months

Placement Experience

5

Excellent placements and jobs. Best are in computer science and IT where from 100-120 students, all get placed and 60% students have 2 offers with top 30-40 students have offer around 8 lakhs per annum. Then comes ece and mechanical which also have 100% placement. The average packages offered are relatively low due to lack of industries in north.

College Events

4

Yearly basis fest, which is amazing, lots of programs and fun activities. There are different clubs like dance club, musical club, arts and cratfs, literature etc. all these clubs have their own contribution in the fest. Aprt from fest, convocation day is celebrated once in 2 years. Apart from this students get lots of holidays, like on each govt holiday etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very very very Cheap, each semester will cost you around 25k and that too for general category. If someone is from other categories like sc st and obc then fee is less and almost free for those who lie below poverty line. So for general category, almost 2 lakhs is the total fee for b.tech in 4 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, loan is offered easily by the bank without any collateral required, since it is only 2 lakhs. Yes scholarship is also given , but to very less students like 1 or 2 top students, Apart from this scholarship is given on caste and economic status basis, like for people are lie below poverty line the fee is around 10k per semester

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life is amazing, ratio is partial towards female , as female reservation is present. Extracurricular includes cricket, basketball etc. Apart from this sometimes football is also played. Nothing other than this. Labs are good, with computers etc. Library is also decent with a lot of books.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facilities are very bad, as it is very cheap also. No coolers or ac or power backup. You will literally cook inside the hostel. But the good thing is there are multiple pg options available just near to college, so not to worry about that. Food stall is not so good, but good and cheap.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, ALUMNI is amazingly helpful, as they bring a lot of compies in the college for placement, which help students to get good opportunities in the college.

Exam Structure

Each semester will have 2 sessionals, 1 main exam. Sessionals each of 30 marks each - in final average will be calculated. FInal exam is of 60 marks. Rest 10 marks are given by teacher based on internal assessment which are based on attendance and assignment etc.

Admission

AIEEE, then Haryana counselling gave me a seat. At my time, there was no need to fill the admission form separately. I got Electronics and Intrumentation in first level of counselling, then gradually after 2-3 levels of counselling, I got Computer Science. Things might have changed now.

Faculty

4.5

Apart from few teachers, rest are not focusing much on students neither research. But examination is very good, so at the end the student will have to prepare well before exam. Which ultimately leads to good education. Anyways it is the best college in its area.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy. Lookout for some exams because the faculty sometimes makes tough and tricky paper just to fail students
