Remarks

To take admission you need to give mht-CET/JEE as 85 percent of students are from Maharashtra. The counseling is done through mht-cet. For the general category, fees are 135000. The staff should give more time to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It was more reliable and I had more interest in this course. And it is one of the best courses that our college provides. Teachers are highly qualified and are very helpful. Many of them are Ph.D. holders. Every semester is of four months.

Internships Opportunities

4

From the third year, the internship is compulsory for every student. But it is optional for second-year students. The fourth-year students must get an internship for a minimum of 6 to 7 months. The company mainly offers CS and IT students.

Placement Experience

3

From third year students can apply for placement the company that visits our college are Wipro, Infosys, sand wick. The average package is 3 to 4 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 10 lakhs. This year's highest package was 9.7 lakhs. I will look for a job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the general category students, fees are 135000. We can pay it at one time and also we can pay in installments. The Maharashtra government provides many scholarships for example SC/ST scholarship and OBC scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Our college celebrates many festivals and one of them is the biggest festival its name is D.Y Utsav. The library of our college is very big it contains about 50 thousand and above books. The college supports us with various sports one of them is table tennis. The coding club is famous in our college.

Hostel Facilities

4

We have one hall and one kitchen and in one room there is a minimum of 2 to 3 students. We have a mess below our hostel and the food quality is satisfying. We have to pay a minimum of 15000 for college hostel registration.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
