Remarks

The current admission process to the university is through CUET, however, when I took admission in 2018 it was totally cut off based. The university provides reservations to its students. The application form is available on the university's website only.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Most of the faculty had an excellent amount of experience in the academic field. Since it is a state University, faculty were selected only if they have cleared the UGC net examination, hence no doubt the faculty was well educated as well as experienced. The exam pattern was based on the submission of research papers and essays. But it also depends on professor to professor.

Placement Experience

2.5

In the final year, students become eligible for placement in the college. Several companies like Relaxo visit the campus and make an average of 20-30 offers. The placement cell has recently become active in the university, and the members of the cell are really trying hard to reach out to as many companies as possible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only semester excellence-based scholarships are available. I do not know if it's still there or not but there used to be this 'Earn while you learn scheme that came twice when I used to study there and there's a probability that you can avail of that.

Campus Life

4.5

The library of all three campuses is accessible. The librarians are very supportive and they also make sure to buy access to major international journals and websites for research papers. The Karampura campus has a big football ground, basketball ground and even a volleyball ground and a sports room for other indoor game activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
