I like computer science and engineering. Velammal engineering college is near to my home and one of the best colleges in Tamilnadu. The faculty is very good and the teaching is very best. All faculties are experienced in their respective subjects. The exams are sometimes difficult if you didn't read. The faculty will help you any time as you like a friend if you respect them.

I'm placed in HCL technologies and I went for the internship for two months I also went for the internship in Vectra Technosoft private limited in NUNGABAKKAM in Chennai. My project is about the latest bot technology and full stack development. My faculty helped me in many difficult situations to clarify my doubts and at last, I finished my projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Velammal engineering college, the college fees are 85000 and bus fees are 35000. It's worth it because the way of teaching is good. There are many scholarships for bc, sc etc. For school, the yearly scholarship is 65000 and the bc scholarship is 6000. For campus placement, Velammal engineering college is one of the best colleges in Tamilnadu. Last year 100 per cent placement in Velammal engineering college

Campus Life

There are many festivals conducted in Velammal engineering college like a technical festival coding challenge, sports events, and cultural. The library is also good. There are more than 1000 books in the library and the latest books are also there in the library. Velammal engineering college also concentrates on sports and extracurricular activities. There are many clubs in Velammal engineering college like maths club, social club, coding club like etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good in velammal engineering college. The food is very good in velammal engineering college. Weekly there days non veg and four days are veg food. The registration process for hostel is also available in college web portal and also you can get from college itself. I'm in the hostel only.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I applied for SSN and saveetha college. But now i am happy that i got this college. Because when compares to saveetha. My college have better placements. So im happy that i have this college.
