Remarks

They dont try to call core technical companies for campus placement. They dont spend on the cultural event more

Entrance Preview

UPTU SEE 2008, my rank was 7010 in general category. at that time college was at the top position in academic in UP so i selected this college

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As I said earlier that academic wise college was really good,Although faculties are not upto the mark but we can study by our own and can perform better

Internships Opportunities

There was no any kind of internship and no stipend was provided. Only i could do a training in UPPCL sub station and learned about the distribution and transmission pf electricity.

Placement Experience

2.5

For software field some good companies visit the campus .Some of these are Infosys, Syntel, Headstrong .Apart from these companies there are no any good company in any field.

College Events

annual tech fest called Tech Trishna.Annual sports event SakshamAnnual cultural fest VibrationsApart from these fresher party, farewell and garva nights for girls

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible. At this time the academic fee per year is approx 1 lac and hostel fee is approx 70 thousands only which is least in NCR reason

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is not any such facility,U have to take a loan or government scholarship by your own.

Campus Life

4.5

In this field college is so good, there are NI and KUKA robotics labs and workshop in college. College organizes various competitions, workshops and other event related to robotics and other areas

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel and mess facilities are same in every college because students always complain about the food quality and taste so in this field there is nothing new to say

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnis and seniors are very supportive and always ready to help in every aspect .even after the course completed.

Exam Structure

Two STs and one PUT before the university exams, Apart from that two class tests before each ST.If u want good internal marks then u have to perform well in STs and also maintain good attendence

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

More Information About AKGEC College

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
