Remarks
I came to the college with jee result. You need to score well in jee mains to get admitted here. In the chemical department, you may get admission in the 95 percentile. After the jee you need to fill concealing form of Jossa to be eligible for admission. On getting a seat there in 6 rounds you get the seat. You may apply for the Csab round also at the last.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. The faculty is good in our college. All the facilities are PhD and above qualifications. They have good teaching experience. Some of them have 3 to 4 years of experience also. And more are highly experienced. There is a good number of teachers in the branch. The exams are really tough but you may pass them.
Placement Experience
This is a good placement record for our college. The majority of the students are placed in our college. Some of them opt for higher studies also. In the third year, only you may seat for placement. Seven to ten students got more than a crore placement last year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the general student is 76000 per semester of tuition. And for income, less than 5 lakhs is 34333. For income, less than 1.5 lakhs is 13000. And the fee for a hostel is the same for everyone, that is 35000 for a semester.
Campus Life
Social life at NIT Hamirpur is very good. We have good surroundings and a campus. Our college has the best campus among different NITs. There are different types of clubs and societies in our college. Every branch has different clubs and societies. And all the clubs and societies are run by students only. We have nimbus the tech fest.
Hostel Facilities
In our college, there are different hostels for different years students. Everyone resides in the hostel only but you can take pg as well. The hostel staff are good and polite. The mess of the hostel is better than in different areas. Foods are really good. Nonveg and veg both foods are served.
