All about B.Sc Course at University of Allahabad

The admission process till the 2021 session is based on the entrance exam conducted by the University of Allahabad. Candidates who want to apply can visit the university's official website allduniv.ac.in. Eligibility for undergraduate courses - B.Sc. (Mathematics ) is passed 10+2 or equivalent with mathematics as a subject. The entrance of B.Sc. mathematics contains 150 questions each question carries 2 marks and there will be no negative marking, And total marks = 2×150=300 marks. But from the 2022 session, All central universities take admission with one entrance score named Central University common entrance test named CUET.

I want to study science at a higher level so I choose this course. And the faculty members of the faculty of science are also very well mainly the physics department got much fame for their excellent research work. Prof. KN Uttam is so knowledgeable they published about 100+ research papers. Faculty members are interactive and appreciative of students. Till 2022 faculty members ratio is very less and most of the faculties worked as guest faculty but in 2022 University take the recruited new professors and the new faculties are so appreciative nearly all of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and some faculties completed their degrees from outside India. Exams are conducted yearly in B.Sc.

There are approximately no placement form B.Sc. courses but in some cases, some candidates got placement from a University From the institute of professional studies (IPS ) department, many students got placement from Universities in the best companies like federal Bank, canera bank, Chegg Bartleby, scholli, Mahindra, etc. But BSc. students only get the degree from the University.

For undergraduate courses, the fee charged by the university Is very less in comparison to other central or state Universities (Till 2022) the fee structure of B.Sc. mathematics, 1126 - 1st year, 1025- 2nd year, 1026- final year. For scholarships, candidates can apply for UP scholarships and national scholarships also the science stream student who is eligible for Inspire Scholarship can apply for the inspiring SHE program because the University of Allahabad is recognized by the department of science and technology (DST). And some other scholarships as Merit cum means scholarship are also conducted by the Dean of Students welfare at the University of Allahabad in which you can receive back all your fee if you get ranked in the annual examination conducted by the University.

The annual fest is not conducted yet because when we take admitted COVID is in attack and from when the physical classes start there has been no such fest conducted by the university. But at some times students celebrate some parties like Fresher and farewell parties were conducted in a proper way these parties are mainly conducted when the freshers are admitted. A well-equipped central library in which many journals and books are situated in the art faculty but the reading hall of this library is not so big. For us many libraries such as Central Library, Nehru science library, and Library in the physics department. There are no sports activities but some sports complexes are situated in the science faculty, Poetry clubs and groups are so active at the University of Allahabad and the student union is also very strong at University.
