Remarks

I took direct admission to the college without any entrance exam. They prefer meritious students first. There are reservations and quotas also like obc,sc,St and sports quotas also. There should be some changes in the admission process, like taking entrance exams for all courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have seen the best faculties in this college, all facilities are well experienced and knowledgeable teachers. The students and faculty ratio are 20:01. They took every term exam at the given time, I like to give 5 stars to their faculties.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are good chances for internships that collage provides to students. There are many companies for internships like many goods-making companies, engineering companies, and many more, In the internship period if a student can perform better so companies offer them a good package.

Placement Experience

Semester 5 students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting this college like Google, Yahoo, Infosys, tata motors, TCS many more big and small companies visiting every year. The average package of this college is 6 lakh per annum and the highest package is 50 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

I like to mention this college is too much costly for a middle-class student, There are scholarships also but all are government only. Fees are too high. And there are many other charges also, that a student has to pay.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is very good, it's like a very decent infrastructure, there are many buildings for different courses. The social life of the college is far better than other colleges. There are many fests, and sports competitions organized by collage and students also.

Galgotias University is Great!!

Likes

Galgotias University is among one of the cleanest universities of Greater Noida Knowledge Campus.
Because Galgotias is close to highway one can travel easily wherever they want.
If you look at NCR colleges our fees is quite affordable.

Dislikes

Because students here don't show interest in studies, faculties too have lost it.

Placement Experience:

Infosys, AB Group, and some other come for placements but only 30-40% students get placements. These are also conservative figures as placements certainly are not that great. Average placements too are ot 4 lakhs a year and that's all it is.

Hostel was good and the food that also good
internship program that we could know how we have to work
Teachers they are like friend with the students

Dislikes

Play ground is not good and sports item that to short also not that much
There was no sports period in the college that also very disappoint the students

My Galgotias experience

Likes

We have a mixed culture, there are students from different states and countries
Faculty is friendly and good to get comfortable with
There are no limitations on what you can do you can go for literature, sports whatever you like

Dislikes

The upper classments are not very friendly to go with
University is located at the border of greater Noida so it looks me nearly half hour to reach there
Management system is not good, simplest query tooks 2-3 days to be resolved

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements Companies like Vipro, Provanan, Waterways leisure tourism and many more were offering placements The hight package offered in galgotias was 49 lpa and the avg packages goes to 500000-600000 Galgotias have a placement rate of 100% My plans after the degree is to go for a job for about a year then continue my studies for masters

Overall all the university is too good

The modern facilities which is given by the university
The faculties are just awesome they treat us like friends
The structure and the campus of the university is too good

Dislikes

The management team of the university is not as much good
The fees system of the university is not too good, you have to submit it before the due date otherwise you have to pay fine
The security guards of the university are not professional

Placement Experience:

The university give placements and job opportunities but not too much as compared to their college, the maximum placements gained from college not from the university. They have to give good placements

Just go for it, if you want to fly with your dreams

Likes

Mess and hostel facilities are good as compare to other hostels.
Celebration of different cultures of North India and South India are done here.
Professors and faculties of this college is highly qualified.

Dislikes

Library facility is not good here. There is less availability of books and it rarely open.
There is less availability of sports and gym equipments.
They not provide facility of physical books. They provide pdf of every chapter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is very professionalized course. It improves your communication skill and as well as body language. Extra curriculum activity is also held by this university to improve the skills of the student. Day by Day they are improving their course curriculum and teaching methods. They take three term test in one semester in which two best are included in the result of the semester. These three term test boosts the knowledge and also make us prepared for the semester.

Communication is everything here.

Likes

Hostel premises is very good and safe and it provides good and hygienic food and staff members are also very polite and cooperative
Faculties are very helping nature and they provide every piece of information.
Availability of doctors, medical stuffs, canteen and vehicles.

Dislikes

Rural locality and unavailability of proper complexes.
Implementation of unnecessary rules like coming from outside before 9:30pm.
Having electricity issues and not allowing electrical equipments to the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum offers studies related to aviation, logistics and cargo and the main thing which grabs attention of the students is there 1 year apprenticeship program which train the students for there jobs and provide work experience and also it's a bachelor's degree so later on student can move forward for there master's degree. It is divided into 6 semesters each semester having 6onths duration which starts from basic knowledge about business and management to aviation related and logistics related topics.

Academic side on this college is good , faculty are awesome.

Dislikes

Extracurricular activities are low here although few fest are there .

Placement Experience:

As this cource is of 3 years and 2 years classroom based and 1 year is Apprenticeship (Paid) I think after working in any organisation/company for a 1 year make you an asset for them so they usually hires them. And if someone is didn't get hired University provide opportunity for placement. Almost 100% placement is there.

Why to Choose

Admission:

For getting admission in the college, one has to apply online through the official website of the college. Next, an entrance exam is taken (all major cities and UTs have an exam center), then a Pilot Aptitude Test is taken and last an interview is taken by the Interview Board. During the admission, Class I Medical Certificate is also required for which link is available on the college website.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning.
