Remarks

Eligibility for the course depends upon your percentage scored in 12th. If you have secured above 90% then you can choose any stream. But if the percentage is below 90% then cse will not be provided to you. Other than that you can opt for any stream like ece, me, civil, etc. Application form, fees and date can be seen on the official page of AKGEC on google. Reservation is not provided for the general category. But it is avail to obc, ews, and another category by aktu.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is overall good. Teachers and faculties all are army and military retired. The method of their teaching is also very good. Each and every student can relate to what is being taught to them. We have chosen this course because of our interest in this. ECE branch also opens opportunities for being in the private sector or government sector. Being in CSE you can not go into the government sector. All the faculties are PhD Or gate-qualified. Also, exams are done timely. Every month ST takes place. And then PUTs are taken by the college before final exams.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

On-campus placements are also there in the college. The placement criteria include 75% attendance during the semester. The placement starts from the 6th sem. All the companies start coming and asking for the students according to the percentage cutoff. Many companies come like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Samsung, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Approx Fees of B. Tech (ECE) : 1st year: 140000 2nd year: 120000 3rd year: 119956 4th year: 117000 The fee structure can be seen on the google page of AKGEC. Also, scholarship is provided by AKTU to students under obc, sc, st, ews category. Campus jobs are also very good. Almost every student gets placed from campus in their 4yr.

Campus Life

First of all, the infrastructure of the college is very well maintained. There is greenery everywhere inside the college. Many clubs are made in the college depending on the interest or study base. Like Phoenix for ECE students, brl, cse, big data, photography and media club, taal for dance, verve for fashion society, etc. Books are easily available in the library. You can get them issued anytime. Sports and extracurricular activities on campus are really very good. All types of sports are performed. Coaches are also there for all the sports.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
