Reality of an IIM

In order to be eligible for applying for the program, you should have at least 60 & 55% in classes 10 and 12 for the general and reserved categories respectively. Application forms, fees and dates are updated on the college website and NTA. No, I didn't avail of any reservation. I would like to see the introduction of PI in the selection process.

IPM provides security for post-graduation and provides holistic development compared to other management ug courses. Faculty to student ratio is 20:1. All the faculties are highly qualified PhD holders in various fields and their ways of teaching are quite ahead of time. Exams were conducted a little bit late due to the pandemic and but the level of the paper was moderate.

Placements are very good as there is 100% placement due to the reputation and IIM hold. The average CTC is 13 LPA and the median is also around the same. The highest CTC is around 32 LPA. But there is an annual increase of 15% and also after the construction of the new campus, more companies will visit for recruitment as compared to 180 companies visited this year.

The fee structure as of now is 4.5 lakhs per annum for ug and 7.5 lakhs for PGP. Need-based scholarships are being provided and also student loans are being given for financial assistance easily. Fees hike is subject to college policy. I took a student loan from SBI.

Life on the campus is amazing despite it being in the construction phase. Infrastructure is not that great but it will be within the next year. There are more than 15 clubs in the college. The annual fest is named Elegante and soon going to be held in December and it will be conducted offline. There are unlimited books and journals available in the library of different quality publishers. Classes are Fully air conditioned and a lifetime experience. Regular sports and cultural events are being conducted on campus. Some student-run ventures are hamofi, hacy, etc.

Hostel facilities are average as of now. Rooms are on dual as well as single occupancy as per batch size. mess food is good as compared to normal. Also as it is a residential program, we can't rent a pg or room outside the campus. The registration process is just needed to get admission and you will be allotted a room in the hostel.
