MMMUT, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Remarks

I have applied for upcet entrance exam for admission in b.tech (lateral entry) and got 208/400 marks and secure rank gen173 and ews gl 6 in all over up. I applied for counseling at mmmut and in the first round of counseling I got computer science and engineering (ews seat). Then I pay 40k for seat freeze and then 50k at physical reporting. It was a very nice experience to get admission to mmmut.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen computer science and engineering and it is slightly hard to get selected for 16 seats and start the journey in 2nd year but when I came here faculty and teachers support us to cover the topics taught previously by them.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are started in 2nd year and we have to make more efforts on our skills and awareness of internship processes. College helps us to find opportunities but also we have to search for them so that we can apply for better.

Placement Experience

After completing 3rd year when we moved to the final year, we are eligible for campus placement and many companies are coming. The average placement of mmmut is 8lpa and the maximum for last year was 45 LPA. So it's good to get placed from MMMUT. From computer science and information technology 100% students get placed and also from other branches students get placed more than 60%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good but after admission in 3rd year, we have to pay all fees in one installment. As my father is a government employee so I don't get the benefit of scholarships. The average placement was 8lpa last year and the maximum was 45 LPA so it's good to study in mmmut when you have got cse branch.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good and there are different types of clubs that always hold social activities and coding competitions which can help us to improve our skills. Sports clubs, dance clubs, CodeChef chapters, robotics clubs, NSS, finance clubs, etc are such types of clubs. There is a central library where you can sit and learn in peace, there is no disturbance and all types and course books are available in the library. An e-library where you can use PCs also.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
