Remarks

Passing senior secondary in the commerce stream was the eligibility till last year but from this year admissions are based on CUET Exam. The examination. Forms will be available on Delhi University Official website and then subsequent forms should be filled out on College's Official Website. The admission process is quite smooth and there is one improvement, I want to see is that they can return the original documents the same day.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I was pursuing a Chartered Accountant too and this course goes very smoothly with a professional course like CA. The majority of the subjects are the same and It provides you with a good foundation to score at the college level. Faculties are highly qualified and completely competent to teach. Term exams are held after every 6 months on a semester basis.

Internships Opportunities

5

Summer Internships are the most popular types of Internships offered to the students of our course. Many Companies like HDFC Bank, EY, Sharekhan, BGG, McKinsey and Co., Tres Vista, and many more offered summer internships of duration 3 months to 6 months to the majority of the students. Roles offered were mainly Analyst Interns with a handsome stipend of around 15000-20000 per month. Some of the main projects handled at that time were extensive market research to present the potential product as the outcome with respective threats and opportunities of profit as well.

Placement Experience

5

Semester 5th students are eligible for campus placements. Plenty of companies visited including Willis Towers Watson, Big 4's EY, Tres Vista, DE Shaw, Accenture, BCG, and many more. The highest and Average Packages offered to my course were 8LPA and 3.6 LPA respectively. Almost 40% of students got placed easily just based on academics, co-curricular and technical skills they learned in College. I working in the corporate world from that time till now in a very good position.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course are very reasonable and don't get hikes frequently. The cost for all three years was 36000 INR. There are many scholarships and financial assistance schemes available for students who cannot afford the fee structure.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is super amazing. Annual Cultural Fest get organized every year in March. Apart from that tech and commerce fests and fests of every other department are held on every subsequent even semester. Books are available in Library in very bulk quantities and very easy to access from a viewpoint of students. The sports community is pretty active in the organization of inter-college tournaments and daily practice sessions along with extra diet for sports people every day. Many social groups and clubs are there in college and that's the best part about it. There is a club for every cultural activity and every departmental society is also there.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.
