Remarks
The eligibility for the course is a minimum of 75% in the 12th examination and must give jee mains exam. the exam is generally held 2 times a year. First in January and second in April. the application fees for general -obc student is 1000 and 500 for SC and ST candidates. the form can be found on the NTA website once you clear the exam you can apply through the jossa counseling process which is generally held after two months of the exam. The cut-off marks for general candidates are slightly higher than obc and SC, ST candidates. The one improvement needed is that the exam should be conducted once in a year only.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in the electrical engineering branch of NIT WARANGAL because from my initial days I enjoyed solving circuits and electrical problems. The faculty is average in NIT WARANGAL. For specific in NIT WARANGAL, the faculty is quite friendly to students. The faculty-student ratio is 1: 19. I think every faculty is quite educated .every one is qualified with a P.H.D. degree. so about exams, there is a minor exam of 10 marks two times a semster.mid term examination is held 1 time in a semester, and end term examination one time in a semester.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship opportunities are offered in colleges. Many big companies are coming for internships like Microsoft, Amazon, and de-Shaw. and the stipend is 1lakh per month for many companies. if you want a good internship then you must have good projects in your resume related to your domain.
Placement Experience
For internships, students can apply from the 5th semester and for placement, students can apply from the 7th semester. there are many good FAANG companies that are visited on campus like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, BNY MELLON, etc. the highest offer offered by thought spot this year is 88 lakh per annum (CTC). The average package is 15 lakh per annum. approx. 90% of students got placed this year. My plans after the degree are to pursue M.S. from Stanford.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester tuition fee for general and obc students is 62,500. For sc, st, and PWD students there is a fee waiver scheme. Even general and obc student can get fee waiver based on annual family income. for students having a family income of less than 1 lakh, there is no tuition fees .and for between 1-5 lakh there is only 1/3rd of the fees. There is a merit scholarship based on a CGPA obtained in 1 year. generally cut-off is 9+CGPA.generally many companies visited campus for jobs with a good stipend.
Campus Life
There are two fests held in a year on campus. The first one is TECHNOZION which is generally held in December and the second one is SPRING-SPREE which is generally held in March-April. you can get books from seniors and also the library is rich in books. The classroom is quite good with good ventilation conditions. there is a basketball court, a tennis court, and a cricket court also. there are many clubs which are running in college like NEVRONAS, MUSIC CLUB, DANCE CLUB AND language and debating club.
Hostel Facilities
In the room, there are good facilities like a fan, chair table and wardrobe and Wi-Fi facility also. there are three messes IFC-A, IFC-B, and IFC-Registration process for hostels is done in starting of registration, and in the mess, you can eat food on a 15-day basis. there is quite less room and pg in Warangal but the hostels are quite good in nit Warangal so there is no need to go outside the campus.
