Remarks

Everyone can take admission after 12th, it can be direct admission or maybe through WBJEE Or JEE MAINS. Students can even take admission after Diploma degree. To apply for admission students have to visit the official website of the university. There they can find the application details and fees related issues. Fees may increase. Seats are available for reserved candidates i.e. SC, ST, OBC. Students can also avail the scholarships and TFW(Tuition fees wavier).

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college because it has all the facility which student need in the course. Faculty members are very supportive and speaks in English. So. Students who come from outside of the state will have no problem in language. Talking about qualification of the professors most them are CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY AND JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY passout . Every semester is of 6 months, it is not that much difficult to pass the exam if the student studies properly.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like flipkart , Microsoft provides internship from out college, with a minimum stilend of 30000INR monthly. Now, it depends on students on how much effort they give to grab the opportunity provided by our college.

Placement Experience

Student can get the placement within the college. Top comapnies like AMAZON, NVIDIA, ODDESSEY, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, TCS etc. Comes to hire students. Highest package went up to 32 LPA (at Amazon) and minimum package is 5 LPA(TCS) .

Fees and Financial Aid

490000(excliding hostel fees) is the fees for my batch it may increase further. Hostel fees depends on what room does the student choose to stay. Talking about scholarship then, student can avail the TFW(Tuition fees wavier) at the time of admission the student have to mention for TFW. Many more scholarships are there like SVMCM, SCC etc.

Campus Life

Our college host lots of fests like dev fest where students can do the competitive coding, then comes hack4bengal etc. Books and journals in the library are present, student do not have to buy books from outside, they can issue it within the campus. Sports and extra curricular activities are also present such as basketball March, cricket match , volleyball match etc. There are lots of clubs are present such as hack4bengal, geeksforgeeks community, hackerrank community etc.

Interview Experience

During the admission, there was no group discussion or interview was taken. For students who will take direct admission, will not have to face any group discussion or any interview For students, who will take admission through wbjee or jee mains they will also not have to face any group discussion or interview.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good.I would consider the college as very clean.
The campus life is pretty good but there are strict instructions to freshers to not roam in the campus.

Dislikes

I disliked the condition of the bathroom and the corridor on the first day.
My hostel room was very filthy.The workers charges ₹100 for cleaning it

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

Its our lovely college TIU

Likes

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

One of the best things about my college is all the classrooms and labs are fully air conditioned. The classrooms, labs and even the toilets are cleaned regularly, which really helps to create a comfortable learning environment.
All the clubs of the college remain active all the time no matter whether it's technical clubs or fest related clubs like fun events domain, etc.
The most important thing is that the college is entirely ragging -free. College also maintains a healthy girls to boys ratio.

Dislikes

The classrooms are quite compact compared to the number of students in each class . At times it feels overcrowded and a bit uncomfortable during lectures.
Some of the faculty members are relatively inexperienced. It often feels like they don't have full command over the subject they're teaching, which can affect the overall understanding of important concepts.
Another issue I've noticed is the irregularity in certain subject classes. Not all subjects are taught consistently every semester , and there are high chances of some classes getting missed or not scheduled properly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements form 7 th semester that is from the beginning of final year. Usually the service based companies come here with cgpa criteria and offer jobs to students.

lab circumtances are lightly good.we can share our opinion their.
use of projector is very helpful for us .
faculties behaviour is good ,they are quite helpful toward us.

small area campus is that what I do not like
canteen facilities are not good enough .
small space library are not enough for all students

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The college campus is very big and beautiful.
The cultural fests and annual fest is also great.
The ganga ghat is really close from the college.

Dislikes

The faculty is bullshit .some profs are ok,but some are horrible.
The college hostels accommodation is really bad
The ratio of girls to boys is very poor.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okay and companies like google, Microsoft, Capgemini ,Tata,Mahindra also comes during placement.The off campus placement record is also fantastic.The were scenarios in the past years where few students got packages like 50-70 lpa.

SNU - A bizzare

While I was looking out for colleges, I had applied to satyabhama institute of science and technology, Xavier's law college bhubaneswar, Christ University Pune and several others. I had got selected in all of the above mentioned colleges but had to take admission in SNU as I'm a resident of west Bengal and Kolkata is the most nearest and accessible city to my home. My family was not in favour of sending me to different state altogether with unknown different culture and unaware societal pattern. Moreover, SNU offered me 100% scholarship on tuition fees while the above mentioned colleges have exorbitant fee structures. I had applied for CUET entrance test targeting BHU but unfortunately I couldn't appear for the cuet exam and couldn't make it. The admission process to my college is really simple.
