Remarks

My college is a great college, but the area in which it can improve is its placement drive. Improving the placement can enhance the overall rating of the college.

Entrance Preview

I did not took any entrance examinations, and applied directly to this college after completing my senior secondary education. I scored an aggregate of 61% in my intermediate board examinations. The reason why I opted for this college was because, after doing a lot of research about the top engineering colleges in Jaipur, this college was the only logical choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

To sum it up in a word, organized. The first year course of engineering students was the same all over the state. After the completion the first year the courses started to related to the specific fields of the students. Every lecture was the duration of forty five minutes each, with six lectures a day and a half an hour break after four lectures. Every day had a practical session of an hour and a half duration, which is two lectures combined. We were given projects and assignments for research purposes, and their inspection was conducted thoroughly at end of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provides internships to all the courses, but the stipend is provided to post graduation course students only not to graduation pursuing students.

Placement Experience

3

Well the Computer Science and Information Technology branches have high placements, up to 60% students gets placed. And overall placement of the college is about 40%. But if we talk about job opportunities, they are plenty concerning my field, most of my friends are placed in CarDekho.com. The rest including me are opting for further studies.

College Events

3.5

Shradhanjali, the cultural fest of our college that includes Paper Presentation, Poster Making, Creative Writing, Quiz, Dance Competition, Debates etc. Arya Ratan, the fresher's party. Top Guns, the farewell party for final year students. Victory, the annual day. Graduation day, the students receive their degrees. And there are Technical events as well including all the departments of our college, like tehnika naitus, exergie, auto ignnition, zephyr, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At the time when I was studying the first year fee for me was 65.5 thousand, and rest of the years it was 55.5 thousand. According to the facilities and infrastructure the fee was feasible to me, as I come from a middle class family. There was also the caution money (refundable) fee of 7.5 thousand rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know there were no scholarship programs in our college. But there was a loan facility given to the students in need

Campus Life

4.5

There were about 40% girls in our college. There were no dorm parties or workshops or any kind of student cultural societies. Diversities in accordance to gender, ethnicity, and religion were about 70-30%, but there were negligible amounts of race, sexual orientation, politics and status diversities.

Hostel Facilities

3

Actually never stayed in the hostel, but according to my friends’ college dorms were spacious with 3 students per room. The rooms were centrally cooled via ducts, with every other necessary facility provided to the students. The food quality was however questionable, it was neither good nor bad in taste and nutrition.

Alumni/Alumna

I am still studying, so I am not in touch with any of the other alumni of my college. At the time of my college the seniors were really helpful, as they guided me with every aspect of college life. In fact many of my seniors were my close friends.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted by Rajasthan Technical University, to which our college is affiliated to. The exams are held in other colleges, as per the guidance of our University. The exam structure is fair enough. And the practical were held in an orderly fashion. Each class was divided into two groups and then the practical exam was taken separately, to avoid confusion.

Admission

First of all after completing the research, I and my father visited the campus to see the infrastructure of the institute. And after being fully satisfied by the college facilities and department buildings, we decided to take admission in it. For a fee of 1000 rupees I got the admission forms from the reception desk, and submitted them after completing all the entries and attaching all the necessary documents. It took almost two weeks for the result to be released to the applicants, and luckily my name was on the list. As for the administration, they were really helpful, as they assisted us college visit and forms filling, because if not for their help it would have taken us a lot of time to visit the college infrastructure and fill the forms by ourselves.

Faculty

4

The one quality that every faculty member possessed was, they were supportive towards the students. The age of the faculty ranged from the young to the old. As the younger faculty provided us with the latest advancements in our respective fields of technology, and the old to guide us through with the help of their experience as our guide.

Obviously there is a campussing process that gives the students the opportunity to get their desired job. You can also go off campus to get bigger opportunity, but it will be on your head only that means it's a risk. But the average placement provided by the university is 6 lakhs and the highest one is 72 lakhs per annum.
