Remarks

Admission is done through kiiteee exams for which anyone who has cleared the 12th exam can appear. The exam is conducted in an online proctored mode. There are no application fees for the exam. The admission process is smooth after you clear the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I enrolled in the computer science and communication engineering branch which was allotted to me with my rank. The course is well structured, and the quality of the faculty ranges from good to average. Most of the professors have a Ph.D. or currently pursuing a Ph.D. The exams are conducted on time and are moderately difficult.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are lots of internship opportunities available. The company providing the most number of internships is a high radius but there are a lot of students which go off campus too. The roles Offered are sde.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement record of the college has been decent this year with an average of 7LPA and the highest of 50 LPA. But the return on investment is not great so you need to work hard for good placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are high with tuition fees alone around 3 lakhs without including the hostel fee, there are scholarships available for top-rank holders, and there are various internship opportunities available in the college.

Campus Life

Here comes the best part of this college, the campus life. The campus has a very vibrant life with lots and lots of clubs and extracurricular activates for the students the annual fests are generally conducted in January and December.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels provided by the college are decent with the option of both ac and non-ac rooms from which the student can choose. Facilities such as laundry and cleaning is provided inside. The mess food is also good.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Interview Experience

3.5

The admission process is based on the kiiteee rank and JEE mains rank, there are no interview rounds. The entrance exam is based on JEE syllabus. The test is online proctored with a negative marking of -1.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
