Remarks

The eligibility for the course is a minimum of 60 percentage of marks in maths, physics, and chemistry in 12th graduation Well, I didn't receive any reservation benefits. Yes, of course, I feel the admission process is kind of complicated and takes a minimum of 3 visits to the college before I got admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my own passion in the construction field and to pursue my career as a civil engineer. Faculty-student ratio and relationship are well and good with no disputes and its a blessing to have such faculties. The faculties are well educated with teaching experience of last 5 years each, also teaching method is more practical rather than reading as per the books. Term exams are more timely occurring once a month and I find it easier to crack the examinations.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 720000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees policy is acceptable and the cost to study is worth spending money on as the management provides more facilities for the students to have a good experience. I got a student scholarship and got financially assisted by the college management and I got placed on campus with a stipend of 7,000 while studying and got a job as a designer in the construction field at Larrison and Toubro company.

Campus Life

The college conducted its annual fest at the end of October named INSTRUOFETE 22 and a tech fest named ELENTRUS 22 in April month. Almost the majority of the books are tech-oriented along with course-oriented used to refer to the chapter and get more understanding for the students. Classrooms are quite a space along with the availability of projectors for students to clearly witness the understanding of concepts. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged and the college allows the students to bring out their talents. Students welfare club and various pages and websites are run by the students of panimalar named panimalar students club.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

My cutoff for engineering was too low to join this college but the only thing that was a favour to me is my community. I come under a reserved community, and my friends who are from other communities with higher cutoff than me couldn't make it to Panimalar. My admission to this college was through Government Counselling by choice filling. Before my choice filling, I've heard a lot about Panimalar through Social Media and I've got fascinated by their placement percentage, food quality, transport quality, etc... So, I placed panimalar at the top of the choice list and It's the only college I chose from Chennai. I've made choices majorly from Trichy like K Ramakrishna Engineering College, Saaranathan Engineering College, MAM Engineering College and other colleges around Perambalur, Salem. I was so happy when I got an admission in Panimalar. They invited me directly to the college for the admission process. Me with my dad went for the admission. There was a huge queue sitting in front of us. We got amazed by the demand for the admission in this college. After all our time in the queue we finally got into the admission room.
