Remarks
There's an examination for admissions called KIITJEE, according to your rank you'll be allowed to put down your course preferences and you get to know if there's availability and if you qualified for the course. The admission process seems pretty simple and less complicated. Just needs to be clear with what ranking and numbers the student get to decide which course he/she prefers.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since Computer Science is a growing field, I was very intrigued about learning Robotics. So I wanted to learn the basics. But to be honest, to learn Computer Science, you have given your best to learn the basics or else you miss out on a lot. The faculties were PhD and Doctorates and were extremely skilled and knowledgeable. But as they say, you go to college to know the basics but you come back and learn everything else on your own. So, yep it's all you and youtube at the end of the day.
Placement Experience
Placements are 100% here. You start off from your 6th semester. But since it's 100% please don't sit and expect that you'll just get into some place, give your best aim for a good company with a higher package. But as for backups, you can easily get into some companies. 98% of students get placed by the end of the 7th semester. Plus you can do honours courses and MBA after your degree as well. Microsoft was the highest package during my time with 33L/pa
Fees and Financial Aid
So since this is a private university. Don't expect a low cost to study. It is of course an average of 12L for 4 years. Excluding all the hostel charges. Based on your rankings you do get scholarships. And placements are a big deal here. Don't worry you'll anyhow get into some company. Just give your best and don't expect since the placements are a 100% chance so you wouldn't challenge yourself to aim for the higher ones. But as for backups, you will get into some.
Campus Life
So the annual fest is called the KIIT Fest, it's a big deal over here. We get singers celebrating with us and many activities. Tech workshops happen all the time, so good way to invest quality time. There's a library on every campus as well as a central library, so books are easily accessible. Loads of amenities, like sports gym swimming pool gardens, and food courts. Huge classrooms since the total count can be more than 80. There are social clubs and people can register for them to get in. Like: Pankh, NSC etc
