Remarks

You have to pass class 10th with 55% marks in science and maths from any recognized board. You will find all the information regarding the application forms, and residential and admission processes on its website. The reservation criteria that can be used are obc, sports,ce, ca, etc. Aligarh Muslim University is a very big University it takes time to get in admission, so its time should be reduced.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose a diploma because I want to do engineering (civil engineering). The faculty is excellent the professors are Ph.D. holders and least at MTech and pursuing Ph.D. Their teaching Is so excellent and they have a very good experience. The exams are divided into mid sem exam and end sem exam mid sem exam is 25 marks and the end sem is 60 marks and 15 marks on assignments and notes.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 18425 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies are available in the University for an internships with a stipend. I don't know so much about this so I can not tell you. But some projects and things I know that in civil engineering every last year you will go for camp for a survey and environment studies.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year you will be available for jobs and interviews. Many companies come like IFSCO etc. .highest package is 1.23 crore in BTech and i diploma, it is 8.5 lakhs. The average package of a diploma is 3-4 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not so high because it's a central government University. Its book fees are also not much high you can purchase books from the University library department. There are many scholarships and very good opportunities in job packages in campus selection by companies.

Campus Life

There is a department CEC that produce contest and cultural activities at a hall made for this which is named Kennedy auditorium/ hall. There are language labs in which you can participate .there are a lot of social groups in the University and a union assembly held by students and the union president.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good in the University you can get easily rooms in hostels. University have a lot of hostel-like rm hall mm hall, sir Syed hall etc. The meal quality is also good but sometimes it is not a room has 5 persons allotted.

Likes

The best and beneficial part of this college is that provides great facilities of education knowledge . Also college help us.
College has a green and large campus and quality of social interactions.
Expert Teaching facilities , teaching method is excellent.

Dislikes

Canteen can be more better than its now .
sometimes more lecturer was taken by faculty.
Last year we did not get winter vacations as our faculties has organised survey lab.

the last year placement is 12 lakh per anuum in 2023 my senior who was completed plastic engineering from cipet ipt lucknow he got 12 lakh package in maruti suzuki company and other senior are also got good placement like 9 lakh or 7 lakh per anuum

Reality of campus

Likes

All teacher behaviour and teaching methode is very good and enjoyable
All student comfortable communicate with principal because he has friendly nature and all doubt and problem solving.
I like extra curricular activity like our house and maintain like house does not feel another place because like home comfortable

Dislikes

Market is far away from college 5 km so by bus all student going
Mess food is not much good like home any time without any notice change time table

5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Suzuki visited last year and many more companies. Highest package is 600000 and average package is 36000 and offered on behalf of skills. More than 70% on final result and less than 70% are also got placement on behalf of skill and knowledge. After degree got placement.

I chose a diploma in electrical engineering because it is my passion I want to become an electrical engineer so I chose it as a better course for engineering aspirants there are 90:10 ratio of boys and girls students. Exams were conducted timely and If a student studies well it is good enough.

GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC MATHURA-DIPLOMA IN CIVIL ENGG.

Placement Experience:

Some company visit our College to take campus drive about in February. Only final-year students can take part in campus drives. The highest package offered is 2.3 LPA and the average package was 1.8 LPA. Minimum marks to get placement is 50%. I am going for higher education so I didn't take participate in placement.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy.
