Remarks

The admission process was smooth. Got into college from JEE and JOSAA college applications. Got it with an SC ranking of 2200. Students can be made aware since I was not aware of how to fill JOSAA choices. Overall it was a smooth process.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course curriculum is good and I choose a dual degree because in 5 years it was given me 2 degrees. There are a lot of students in computer science. there are subjects which are provided by the college but they dont have teachers for them so they are not chosen in open electives. Highly qualified faculty and all teach in their own style but it is good. Mid-semester exams are medium-rated and ends and semesters are difficult but not that difficult to pass. there are a few teachers who fail the students but this is good since they are impartial.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies are Intel, Amazon, nvidia, mediatek, Qualcomm, Axtria, etc with good packages. Ctc varies from 13lpa to 40lpa. Interview process are three stage with a rectad and aptitude and personal interview and technical round.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are not that good this year because of the recession but the average is more than 12lpa. Companies like NVidia, Qualcomm, Intel, and Amazon have visited and hired a lot of students. The current placement percentage is 70%

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are high and some students are not able to afford them and usually take loans. The loan is available from the SBI branch inside the college. I didn't get any placement till now. The scholarship I get is a PG scholarship by MHRD for SC students.

Campus Life

2.5

The annual fest is the hill fair which occurs in October. Tech fest is a nimbus which occurs in march. The library is not that good but you will find the books for courses. The classroom on the top floor has ACs and all classrooms have projectors.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels are good and the internet is provided with wifi and lan. The meal is not good. The menu is good but they dont know how to prepare those dishes. Registration is easy but you have to pay a lot of fees.

Interview Experience

3.5

No, I did not have to face any group discussion interview for that College admissions but I had to go JEE exams and coaching for that which can be costly. Admission criteria are fewer and listed on the website and for phd it is difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.
