My experience in kiit University.

I got my admission through my jee ranking. The jee ranking required for CSE branch in kiit is 90 percentile. They also conduct kiitee exam in 4 or 5 phases which is both online and offline. By getting a good rank in the exam you can get top branches. You will need atleast 80 percentile for top branches in this exam.

I chose BTech CSE course because I was always interested in programming and also the branch has best placement. The faculty to student ratio was good. Our chemistry and maths teacher are really experienced and they have experience of teaching in iitk and iit bhubaneswar. Many teachers have experience of teaching in iits and nits. The exams are always on time and the difficulty level of the exams are moderate. you can get good score by studying 3-4 days before the exam.

I am still in the first year so I don't know much about the internship opportunities but I have heard from my seniors that the college provide really good internship opportunities in the second and third year.

The placement of the college is really good. last year the cse branch had a highest package of 82 lakhs and 3 guys got 52 lakhs. The average package is around 8 lakhs and the placement rate is 96 percent. I plan on getting a master's degree in the field i am interested in. The companies that visited the campus last year includes Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

The fees is quite high but what do you expect from a private college. The facility and campus of the university are really good. You get scholarship if you rank in top 1000 of the kiitee exam. Also if you top in your sem exams you get scholarship.

The campus of kiit University is one of the best among Indian institutes. You get all sorts of facilities like sports complex which is available for every hostels. There are also gyms, food courts, stadiums (indoor and outdoor). There are total 3 libraries in our campus. Hostels are provided with high speed wifi network. There also 30 societies in the university. You can participate in the societies by giving a test.

You can choose different rooms for example 2 bed AC/non AC or 3 bed AC/non AC. The rooms have shelfs above the table. you are provided with a mattress, bedsheet, pillow,a bucket and a mug. You can register for the hostel online and offline. The hostel fees ranges from 30000 to 60000. The food provided in hostel is average.

Kiitee is conducted in 4 or 5 phases every year. By getting a good rank in the exam you can get top branches like CSE, IT. The test/exam has 3 sections which is maths, chemistry and physics for PSM students and for PSB students biology, chemistry and physics. You can also get admission through your jee ranking. Kiitee pattern- the exam is conducted for 2 hours and there are total 120 questions, 40 questions from each subject. The marking scheme is 4 marks for correct answer and -1 for wrong answer.
