Eligibility is 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, KIITEE RANK. Application form on KIIT official site. No, the application system is perfect. If one gets selected for the in KIIITEE they are called for selecting the branch. There were branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer, and its sub-branches.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course gave detail about electricity and electrical appliances. I took this course to look forward to studying electric circuits, and appliances especially to get practical experience in Substations. Each laboratory for this course is fully equipped with the best instruments to conduct the practicals. The faculty of Electrical Engineering is one of the oldest faculties at KIIT. The faculty vs student ratio is 1:5. Every Faculty members have a Ph.D. degree and their teacher is very professional and detail-oriented. There were two exams. Midterms and final. The level of difficulty is average.
Internships Opportunities
Internships at Highradius and other companies are there. Average internships pay 10000 to a student. Under high radius, roles such as consultant and associate are offered. Other than several startups are there to start internships.
Placement Experience
The placement rate is 90%. Almost everyone bags offers into a good MNCs. Companies like amazon, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, and Deloitte come for recruitment. Almost all the departments are eligible for applying to these companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike was high. 2019 batches bear 200000 per year whereas 2020 batches bear 300000 lakhs per year. There are many scholarships available and there are government-funded scholarships too. KIIT gives a discount to students who want to study master's in the university after completing their bachelor from the same.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest is KIIT Fest other than that different departments held their fests within the campus. There are two different libraries. The departmental library and the library at the main campus. Every book is required for the syllabus and extra knowledge is available. The class had a whiteboard and projectors. There are a basketball court and tennis court on the main campus and gyms and swimming pools. Clubs like NSS and NCC, Poetry Society, and robotics societies are there.
Hostel Facilities
Room type: AC and non AC. In a non-AC room, there were cupboards and on study table along with the bed. The AC room is similar to non AC except for the AC. Registration was done initially and fees are affordable. The locality of KIIT road Patia is awesome. There are shops to purchase academic stuff good cafes and restaurants to eat at.
