Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I chose this college because some acquainted person referred me to this college. And a person I know is also teaching faculty in this college. So the faculty-staff ratio is nearly 1:15, which is a good ratio, to be honest. and if you are dedicated, then teachers are approachable. The teachers here are quite qualified. Most of them are postgraduate or Ph.D. holders, having a series of research papers published. So the teacher is done through ppts and boards-pen. Though teaching methodology may vary from teacher to teacher. So a semester includes 2 mid-terms and 1 end-term. Each mid-term consists of 20 marks and the end term consist of 40 marks. The remaining 20 marks are internal, which include assignments and quizzes. Exams difficulty are moderate, and also depend on the teacher

Placement Experience

2

So companies start coming in the 3rd year ( for a 4-year course ), and 2nd year ( for the 3-year course), though you may not get a good placement. The average placement is 4-5 lakh per annum. The placement ratio is nearly 40-50 %. I am looking for masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fees, for B.Tech are nearly 3 -4 lakh per annum. Talking about my course, it's nearly 1.2 lakhs per annum. There are various scholarships named under various names. These include scholarship based on merits, previous performance in academics or extracurriculars, category basis(SC/ST/PWD). There are no stipend systems available to date scene in my college.

Campus Life

2.5

So Manipal has its annual cultural fest named "oneiros", and is a 3-day event occurring in October. So there are 2 libraries available, one is the central library for all the courses except law, and the other is the law library specially designed for the law department. The libraries open at 9 am and close at 11 am. There are various sports available in our college, but the sports infrastructure is not that developed. Many good players aren't able to come up to their full potential due to this flaw. So there are many clubs in the mud, but the major clubs are litmus(writing and debating club), IEEE(Tech club), marksoc ( marketing club), and Cinefilea( theater club). Ohio app is an app, that helps you make friends, this app is developed by our students.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are run by a company named good host spaces. Hostels have a good infrastructure and an amazing and exciting space, but the hostel is way too expensive. It charges shown exclude mess, and mess is compulsory for all the hostelers. Meal quality is moderate, and there are many outlets in the hostel itself for food services, and they are also costly. Manipal is a business hub, where it's all about money. There are rooms and PGs available nearly at a 1 km distance from the campus, and their price range is moderate.

Admission

So admission in this course may be direct or on an entrance basis, I didn't give any exam. You can find the application form on the official website of Manipal university Jaipur, and you can see all the details regarding the fees and curriculum. There are scholarships available on a merit basis, sports quota basis, category( SC/ST/PWD) basis, regional basis, previous achievement in academics, or any other field. Though the admission process is smooth, document submission becomes sometimes a hectic process.
