Course Curriculum Overview
I have a deep interest in coding so I chose IT as my rank did not permit me to be in CSE, to be honest. There are 180 seats and the faculty is really good. The notes given by the teachers are more than enough and the teachers are also really good. Many teachers are from reputed colleges and are Ph.D. holders. It follows MAKAUT so we have 4 CA exams and semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently in the first semester. So I don't have much idea about internships. However as far as I know you can always apply for off-campus internships but for on-campus internships, but I don't have much idea about that.
Placement Experience
The placements in our college have become even better this time with the highest package being 32 lakhs in Amazon 4 students got. And 1.5 crores off campus. with an average package of 6.25lpa. In CSE almost 92 % of students placed and in IT 76%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees the previous year were 4 lakhs 75 thousand but this time it has been increased to 5.5 lakhs due to better placements. However, you can apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship and other Scholarships provided by the government.
Campus Life
The College Campus is very small but it is a greener campus. Life at the campus is good with frequent events and festa occurring. The annual fest is Mesmerizer. This time Epr Iyer came here. The central library is huge and we also have a reading room. The classrooms are big and airy. In the boys' common room, you can play badminton, table tennis, and carrom. And we have a ground outside the campus about 100m. There are lots of clubs. eg : densified, gdsc, phoenix , gnx, etc.
Admission
For entering this college you need to give the WBJEE exam ( West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam). The cutoff this time for IT was almost 22 to 23k. And for CSE it was 12 to 13k. First, you need to apply for the Wbjee exam from the website. The form is generally released in January.
