Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum is rich in case studies making the learning an all-around improvement. The group projects are done by dividing the class into smaller groups of 7 students called APO groups, and each group has two girls min making the gender diversity rich. The student-faculty ratio is 80:1 The Term exams were conducted offline, and the time was 90 minutes. I passed the exams with ease as I paid attention in class.
Internships Opportunities
I have very limited knowledge of SIP stats, so I would like to talk only about my SIP experience. When the SIP week began, my first interview was with Microsoft company. After getting rejected by Microsoft, in the next six days, I got shortlisted by nine other companies. Rejection by all made the process painful but also gave me perspective and an unforgettable experience. On the 8th day of SIP week, I converted Tata Capital
Placement Experience
The Summer Internship Process begins in the first term, and the final placement begins in the 5th term. The average placement is 18 lakhs, and I plan to join corporate life and try to work outside India. I am currently not well-informed to comment on other placement-related activities.
Fees and Financial Aid
When our batch joined IMT, there was a fee hike of 10%. However, the upcoming batch will have no fee hike, and the fees will stay the same. The college has few scholarships this year. The most striking difference is that the girls will have a 25% waiver on their fees this year.
Campus Life
The Annual fest is named Passion and is usually conducted in the early week of December. The Sports fest, named Chakravyuh, is conducted in the month of February. Books are available in our Library, which holds all the latest editions of books and covers a high variety. The e-journals are mailed to us, and we have a free subscription to Times of India prime. The Classroom is equipped with two boards. Projector and integrated audio systems. The presence of AC and Blower helps the students throughout the year. There are 21 Clubs and Committees, and all of them are mutually exclusive and exhaustive to an MBA student's needs
Admission
I started to prepare for CAT in February 2021, which helped me to crack CAT 2021. Since the first day of my preparation, I took coaching from Elites Grid which taught us important concepts. They also made videos containing info on the application form, the last day of submission, fees, and any last-minute changes. I would want one change: the girls' fees should be removed to give them more chances.
Interview Experience
For admission to IMT, I had to face a PI(Personal Interview) and a WAT (Written Ability Test) For WAT, my topic was "How IPL has impacted Indian Cricket." For admission, there was special profile eligibility if you had worked in Infosys, TCS, and other similar companies. I had prepared for GDPI by signing up one of the courses of Career Launcher
