Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because of the interest I have in AI. The course and faculty members are awesome so far, which makes me feel like I'm in good hands. In the start, the student-to-faculty ratio was pretty bad 112 students per 1 teacher, but now it has improved hugely to 50 students to 1 teacher. Well, the majority of the faculty are highly qualified for the courses they teach and the teaching methods include in-class PSA, Theory lectures, and also Practical work. The timings of the exams felt just right with us having enough time to study and complete our course.

Placement Experience

2.5

Well, the placements depend on which course you choose as for me I chose BTech CSE AI & ML and for this course the placements start in the 6th semester but so far I haven't heard about any Good enough placements. Most mass recruiting companies visit here but I have also heard that Google and Microsoft picked a couple of students from here. The highest package I've heard is 41 Lacs and the lowest is 5 Lacs. The percentage of students getting placements is very low for some reason but it is what it is.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees structure is very transparent and accurate. The cost to study compared to other colleges and universities is really reasonable. There are no hidden charges or payments. Scholarships are available for eligible students. Although I do have to say the Accounts Department is very lazy.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is pretty good as long as you don't use the elevators which have had some incidents in all three blocks including failure to stop with students and faculty inside thankfully no one was seriously injured. And regarding the annual fest well it apparently doesn't have a fixed date as it's happening in March and last year it happened in October. Talking about the library well it has a huge variety of books but just for a couple of courses and the Librarian is the rudest person i have encounterd on this campus so I personally stay clear of that place, But the digital library, on the other hand, is very nice and useful with the latest tech present. The lecture/classrooms are all equipped with whiteboards and projectors even tho none of the projectors I have encountered work and the rooms are poorly illuminated with no charging ports as im a CSE student I would like to have some charging ports so that I can use my laptop to follow all the steps that I'm getting told by my Professor.

Admission

The admission process was a bit more crowded than you would expect. there was a general knowledge exam that I had to give according to my stream and after that, I had an offline interview with one of the CS Faculty. The eligibility of the curse I opted for was 50% or above in 12th Grade or must have attempted JEE. All the details regarding admission and courses can be found on the official website of the university. And as for the improvements I want to see in the admission process would be them sticking to the admission limit they promised per class as in the first semester they had just shy of 100 students in the class even tho they said there won't be any more than 60 students per class. it took them 5 months to divide the 100+ students class into two sections. And the overload of admission didn't just cause issues in the class but also with the Buses where students had no seats to sit on for the 1 hour of a more long journey which I feel is a bit of false information they provided.

teaching aspect, exam conduction is fine. except they can give more break (1 or 2 day) between exams, rest all is good. The exams are not that difficult. The level i would say on a scale of 1 to 10, is around 6.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

You become eligible for placements from the 7th sem itself. The companies which some here are mostly unknown companies, except Flipkart, Airtel, Jindal and Reliance. The placement scenario is as follows: CS/IT : Very good placements, avg 4+, highest(from 2023) was 12LPA on campus. Printing/PKG/Food Tech : 100% Placement, in 2024, 10 students got placed with a package of 9.5 LPA. Core branches(Except ECE) : Decent placement, you have to be top employable in your batch to be placed. ECE : Not allowed to sit in software companies, no electronic company comes, worst placement, No need to talk about the package or percentages. You can just be placed in a sales role.
