Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my love for coding and problem-solving since my childhood. The faculty-student ratio is fine. The qualification of the majority of the faculty is average though some faculty are outstanding in this regard. The term exams were timely and the paper was fairly moderate in difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
Usually, consultancy firms the likes of TCS, Deloitte, and others post internship offers offering good stipends for our students. Some good fintech firms such as Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan have our students as interns in their companies.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th sem onwards. Our campus is visited by hundreds of companies that offer thousands of jobs to our students. The highest package received in 2023 is 62 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fee per year is 350000 for the 2020 batch. Now the fees for juniors have been increased even more. No, I did not receive any scholarship from the college as I didn't meet the prerequisites.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is conducted usually in December called "KIIT FEST" which is a huge cultural event filled with fun dance and music. Various tech fests are also held by various internal and external organizations throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is pretty standard. It consists of a bed, a table, and a wardrobe for keeping our personal items. The food of the hostel can be called substandard at best. The quality of the food fluctuates daily and it is often inedible for consumption.
Admission
The eligibility criteria are basic higher secondary education. I learned about the college from my elder brother who studied there. No, I didn't avail myself of reservation benefits. The admission process was fine just wish it had been a bit more transparent.
