What Students Say

- One thing for sure, you are going to get a degree and a job (most likely) from here. What you won't get is boredom and dissatisfaction also get more than interests you have carried since childhood. Not only the subjects but for foods.
Dislikes
- Sometimes it takes toll on health as the the schedule here is too hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since KIIT was my backup plan for JEE MAINS and BITS, I thought I am not going to be a good engineer as I am not able to clear those exams. This college changed my thought process as well as boosted my confidence with its teaching methodology. I talked about the opportunities and how to get the best out of myself from Dibakar Behra Sir(My mentor in the first year). I followed his advice and I am literally feeling that this is the place I wanted or more accurately needed. Though not as big a name as IIT or BITS still they provide us with every tool and tip to be a good engineer. KIIT is a very good platform that boosts your dreams in every possible manner. Faculty members are well-qualified and equipped with excellent skills in teaching. Faculty to student ratio is here about 1:12 . Exams here are challenging but our pre-exam preparation is so good that we find it easy. There are no skipping exams. Every exam is taken as per schedule.
Fees and Financial Aid
Though fees here are on the little higher side as compared to any government college it is worth it. Millions of opportunities only if you are able to recognize them and use them in the right way. Apart from studies so many extracurricular activities, so many societies, fests, seminars, workshops, etc. I am yet to go for campusing, but the institute got the record of 96% placement through their campusing in previous years.
Campus Life
As I just completed my first year, here is my experience. It is going to be one of the best years of college life, making new friends, and adjusting to the new environment, classes, and all. During the first few days, you will be able to sort out the people with whom you will stay friends for the rest of your college life maybe even more. One thing that most people do is they will attend classes during the first year which will subsequently decrease in the succeeding years :P. One thing that you will hate is that in the first year, you will be caged inside the hostel as the timings are strict for first-year students. Boys will get involved in sports be it football cricket or tennis and some will start their journey towards Esports like Counter-Strike, Dota, or AOE. In short, your first year will be a smooth run with mid-sems and end-sems taking a bit of fun from the joy-ride.
