Course Curriculum Overview

I studied, computer science engineering at Roorkee college of engineering the quality of teaching is very high-tech and engaging. Faculties are very supportive and very good in nature. The curriculum is new and up to date to today's standard and very interesting to study. The syllabus is all according to Uttarakhand technical university and it's a very and it's very interesting to study at Roorkee College Engineering because of the environment and the faculties is there is very helpful

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

The fee policy of the college is like they have to according to the 12th board percentage of the students they got a discount on that basis the on the basis of 12th percentage of the student such that a person scores about 62 on 80.

Campus Life

There is various kind of first that take place and Utkarsh uthkar the freon is a fest which is organised by the college itself And The finance is the first which is organised by the student itself both are very fun and very good. celebrities came to perform

Facilities very nice very preciously with a available in the files of 12 and 3 and there is a fe changes according to that also there very nice comfortable nice lighting Gardens and very nice for your around there which is very good for development of the college students and also for the importance of very supportive and their very kind of to help us on never make us feel Home Away and very nice to stay here it's a very nice and very Cooperative environment is very good to stay in the hostel also it very good to see I had studied, computer science engineering from roorkee college of engineering the quality of teaching is very high tech and engagaing. Faculties are very supportive and very good in nature. The curriculum is new and up to date to today's standard and very interesting to study. The syllabus is all according to uttarakhand technical university and it's a very and it's very interesting to study in Roorkee College Engineering because of the environment and the faculties is there is very helpful

There is no admission trust in the college only requirement is 12% should be enough for the DM student to get admission in this what college also Delhi duty of the courses for 4 years taken apply to a new dictionary branches of the and I have applied application through social media and applied for that I got the call from the faculty admissions reservation reservation for girls to get admission if they have certain amount of percentage in the 12th standard the fees could be the weights on the basis of that percentage of 12th standard there is no improvement in admission process as it is very good and very nice and also very convenient to talk to the students principle or any other member for the admission shell it is very interactive in very good to talk at their friendly in nature such very good to talk to them and they are very nice to have conversation with regarding the admissions and their very fine to it details they help us during the call to understand the rules and regulation and a process of admission over the call there very kind enough to tell that everything

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

The nature of teachers are very good and love to learn with them

Dislikes

The unwanted rules and regulation of the hostel.
The quality of the beds and the table and chair is not good.
Hostel facility is less and have good infrastructure.

I really like the nature view from the campus.

Dislikes

I dont like the college timetable as i have 6 hours of classes and 3 hours of break in between which kills alot of time.

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like samsung, infosys, IBM have offered placements. Talking about my plan i have an idea to start after my degree or maybe experience of a couple of years.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

A overall overview of college in term of my thinking.

Likes

College faculty is quite supportive in term of working.
College atmosphere for study is good for students.
College social interaction and certain society are good for overall improvement of students.

Dislikes

College placement does satisfy the required term.
Some college professor are not supporting in certain circumstances.
Infrastructure is quite old as per new baches for students.

The course and curriculum of colleges influenced by some professor that include something to the world that include in the current term. Improvement thst include the teaching method and the term of it and the frequency and timing of exam along prospective of the difficulty level is more.

Green Campus with Quality Training and Placement support

Campus environment and infrastructure is good.
The college fees in so affordable for bachelor degree.
Faculty and staff is quite supportive and so interacting.

Dislikes

Fines were taken by the campus on each and every smalls things.
Many restrictions were put on the students.
Library of the college ony having the books related to course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after 5th semester. Many companies visit to the campus for placement of students and hire them at good packages. The highest placement is of 84 LPA and the average package is around 5LPA. 96% of students got placed in companies.

Some faculty are there to taunt students not to study. They only know how to push down and demoralize anyone. One thing I didnt unferstand why faculty play politics in college rather than teaching students.
