Entrance Preview
I gave WBJEE entrance test to pursue this course . This is one of the best schools in India in terms of ROI and campus infrastructure. There are quotas for sc, st and obc students. A general category student requires around 70 percentile to get into SKFGI. The admission process consists of group discussion and interview.
Placement Experience
On an average over 50+ companies visit the campus every Year. Students get a lot of chances to get a job. Companies like Repro India,Telecom network solutions and many more hire in thousands and almost many students get placed in various companies each year. The highest offer is over 9.5 lakhs in a Japanese firm.
Campus Life
The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only university in Hooghly where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel food is great but there are lot of restaurants on the campus. Hostel food would liked by north Indians but south Indians might like the food as it contains a lot of rice and other south Indian dishes and north Indian dishes. There are lot of restaurants outside the campus as well.
Faculty
Faculty is great except few. Most of the teachers are friendly and understand the students. The teachers follow modern teaching and encourage students to bring up innovative ideas. Almost once in two weeks, students would take presentations to improve their speaking skills
