What Students Say

Likes

I like the greenery of the campus as it gives more fresh air.
I also like teaching method of some faculty members
Library, gym and classroom are also well maintained.

Dislikes

There is no canteen near engineering department. Canteen is near the law department.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this as I always want to be a software engineer. The faculty is good they are supportive. Some faculty are rude and did not listen to you. Some teachers' teaching technique is very good. As I am in the first year so I am exploring things and will see the other facilities. Exams happen time but after covid semester exams were shifted that is not restored yet.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 126160 per year

Placement Experience

Since it is a state university and accredited A++ accreditation, various companies approach placement. About 85 to 90% of cse students got placed the previous year but I am not sure about other departments. But for now, the highest package is 14 to 16 lpa .that is low for a very high fee structure. Hope well in future I wanted to get placed after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite high for government universities. But as they offer only a self-finance course for btech so the fee is, for now, 126000 /year. You can get a scholarship by applying for a government scholarship i.e up scholarship according to your caste.

Campus Life

3.5

Overall campus life is good. You can enjoy yourself a lot here. Recently there is a large fest where various colleges of Lucknow participated. The University organize regular fest seminar which makes your journey well. There is a Library where you can get all books related to your course.

Admission

Jee main exam is required for admission. And you have to apply by uptu counselling process. For the CSE department cut off goes around the 85 percentile. After allotment, you have to visit for physical documents with the necessary documents listed in the counselling brochure or university website.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

No, I didn't apply for any other College. No, I didn't avail any quota for admission. No minimum age restriction, you should have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and for admission, you have to score at least 75% marks in the entrance examination.
