The course is designed by renowned faculty members of this university. As it is a 3 years course there are 6 semesters. A total of 12 teachers are present at this time and the total number of students may vary from 90 to 95. Teachers are well qualified.

Internships Opportunities

There are 3 field visits during the 3 years course and in the final year one can get a chance to do a dissertation under the geological survey of India or Atomic mineral directory (BARC) for a period of 30 days.

Fees and Financial Aid

The average fee is 5000 per semester and the total cost is 30000. Scholarships mainly of INSPIRE and students can apply for state-wise scholarships also. There is no placement taking place at this time but students get selection in UPSC.

Campus Life

The campus is cool and calm. There is greenery everywhere. Every year Gour Jayanti takes place in the month of November to celebrate the birthday of Dr. H.S Gour. One central library is open for 12 hours and 7 days a. More than 300000 books are present there.

Admission

Admission was done by the entrance exam of DHSGSU but now it comes under CUET and eligible candidates were called for counseling at Sagar. One must have a bachelor's degree in geology will be eligible for the entrance exam.

Campus placement are average in madhav institute of technology and science, gwalior many companies such as accenture, newgen, tcs , cognizant, etc come to the college for the placement every year in the college

College campus has very good canteen facilities look very good
There are many sports ground such as cricket, football., volleyball etc
College have smart classes for students. Classes are neat snd clean

Students have placement facilities from second last year of every course. Students have special session for placement. Almost 80% students are placed till finwl year package are impressive in terms of valueof course.

Admission:

The admissions in this college depends on the courses you select but the basic eligibility is that students must have scored 50% in 10+2 examination. B.tech applicants can directly apply through college website online and M.tech applicants are required to be graduates and have a score card. Similarly for MBA as well CAT scorecard is mandatory.

Good college for one who have financially problem

Remarks:

Hostel facility is not available, which creates little problem for new students at the time of joining.But over all departments are good.Also upgradetion is needed for lab.Infrastructure is good easy access also for handicapped persons.

Worthy and affordable university
