It has a lot of greenery and infrastructure is also very good
A lot of fests are conducted almost every month
The faculty is very good and teaches efficiently

It's location as it is located far away from metro
The girls hostel is 15km away from college
The campus only have boys hostel which is also not very big

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to engineer because I want to get into the IT sector. The student: faculty ratio is quite good at Galgotias University. Every faculty member is Ph.D. Every semester 3 exam are conducted and 6 internal assessments.

Placement Experience

Students from the 8th semester are eligible for placements. The placements in the college are good, and they make sure to place every student by providing ample opportunities. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Coforge Ltd, HCL Technologies, Byju's, Huawei Technologies, etc. The average package is 6 LPA and the highest package is 44 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for engineering are 159000 per year. You can avail of scholarships like the up government scholarship and Bihar government scholarship and many more after paying the fees. Once you pay the fee, you can apply for your state government scholarship and then submit a form to the registrar's office.

Campus Life

A lot of fests are conducted at Galgotias University. Usually 1-2 fests every month. Galgotias University has a very big library which has enough books. Every classroom is air-conditioned. Sports and extracurricular activities are also good enough.

Admission

To apply for BTech you must have scored 60% in PCM in your 12th class. The application form is available on the university's website. Reservation benefits are available after enrolling at the time of fee payment.

At JIIT they have made it a rule that during 3rd final semester break all students are sent for intenrship and then the final PPO is given. Most students secure job from there and those who couldn't companies are invited at campus for them to try their best and secure a job.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning.
