Likes

Library here is very good here and books of my need is available.
College campus is quite big and Domino's and gazebo is good for eating
People here are very good and I got some good friends

Dislikes

Here the intime is fixed for boys and girls at 9 and 7 respectively
Getting permission for outing is very difficult
Examinations here is too often you get tired

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is a cyber-physical system and I choose this because of my interest in it. The faculties here are quite good and highly qualified and their method of teaching is really good, they have some very good PowerPoint presentations and some books. Faculties to students ratio is about 1:50. Examination here is not good I mean you can pass easily if you just study enough but like every 1.5 months you got an exam that's very disgusting.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come here for internships and they give very small roles and little stipends. About projects and outcomes our role is very less in this we just have to be there just because we need the credit for our degree

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, we are eligible for our placements. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and FAANG companies come here and 80% of us got placed highest package is 1.02 cr and the average package is about 7 lpa and after this degree, I will go for master's

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here are worth it till category 2 and there is a scholarship policy for students with low income you just have to show your proof and you can get that easily and yes they can assist you with your finances. For stipend many options are available

Campus Life

In vit there are a lot of clubs that are run by students. Here students also have the right to create their own clubs. As there are students who belong to different cultures we get to explore them through these clubs. The name of our annual fest is vibrance and the tech fest is TECHNOVIT. They are conducted in February and September respectively. Vit has a very decent Library which contains almost all the Books required for the students. Her classes are very clean and the teachers are highly qualified. There are projectors in every class and are used very often. Here the sports facilities are very good there are 3 main fields for students to play in and different courts are also there such as volleyball and basketball courts.

Hostel Facilities

There are many types of rooms available according to your choice from ac to non-AC and from 2 beds to 8 beds. And the hostel facilities are good. Mess food is quite good in my opinion Registration process is available after your counselling and it's affordable for a middle-class family

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Admission

After qualifying for the exam you go for counselling round where you give a fee of 5000 and after that according to your rank you can choose your branch accordingly and after sometime round ends and you get to know whether you got your branch or not after counselling ends you get to choose for your hostel and mess

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

My insights on Vit Chennai

I applied for very less college.since my cut off was low the possibility of me getting any Anna university affiliated colleges were less. So i wrote entrance exam for Amrita University and Vit. I did get Amrita but felt Vit had better exposure. They were lot of reasons as to why I chose this college. Of most the colleges I searched this had mechanical with specialisation courses. Doing a minor in something will make me a step ahead of every other mechanical engineer. I also compared the curriculum with many institutions,this was far by the best with perfect exposure. They have variety of other non graded courses to help me focus on my hobbies and interest. Their tie ups with many foreign institutions and industries will be an advantage for me if I use it in the right way. Again the only way of getting into Vit is through their entrance exam VITEEE. Since my cut off was low I had to rely on these entrance exams.
