IMT Never Sleeps. Great college

Course curriulum is quite hectic as, in IMT, the trimester goes on means 6 semesters in 2 years. The faculty is quite impressive as majority of them have working experience in big MNCs and top companies. Every faculty has a unique way of teaching to their stduent. some of them were quite impressive in their way of teaching but some were old school. Exams use to happe in every 3 months and in MBA, exams are very easy to crack till the time you understand what actually question demands.

Companies from all sectors come to campus for hiring students for internships. All sorts of roles for all types of specializations are being covered in the process. The stipend varies from company to company. Some companies give 1.5 lahks as 1 monthly stipend, some companies do not give any stipend.

After the 1st year, students are enrolled in internships, After internships get over, students can start enrolling for the placements once the placement week begin. All the top companies that you can name like Google, HSBC, Flipkart, Puma, etc, visit the campus for final as well as internship selections. The average package for 22-23 is 17.5 lakhs. And college provides a 100% placements guarantee to all students. Companies from all sectors visit the campus with all sorts of role for the students to select from.

Total fees are not fixed. It tends to change every year. But, it does include all the other expenses like mess foods, hostel amenities, sports amenities, and many more for both years. Scholarships are available, especially for female candidates. IMT has a good record of placing all the students be it for an internship or final placements with a good package and stipend amount.

IMT is know as "IMT never sleeps". Life at campus is somehwhat of mixed feelings. When in st year, students don't have time to take rest. Whole day, everyone is busy in some or the other thing. Only in second year, students get time to chill. Since, their are a lot of Committees and clubs present in the college, everyday is like a festival because some or the other cluc or committee is having their event. Classrooms are well equipped. All the amenities present in the college are accessible to the students. Most interesting thing to know is that all the groups, or committees or clubs are run by students. Faculty has close to no involvement in these matters. IMT has all sorts of sports amenities available with them.

The hostel is located inside the campus itself. Necessary things are all provided in the room along with AC. Mess food is quite good. Varied types of items are available in the mess menu. No specific registration process is there for the hostel. The college takes care of all the things. And it's compulsory to live in a hostel.

For admission in the MBA college, I gave CAT and other exams also. But, I got admission in IMT from CAT. After CAT, GD-PI sessions were conducted to check the different attributes of a particular student. For CAT or any other MBA entrance exam, you should be atleast in your final year of bachelor's. Experienced people can also apply for these MBA entrance tests. Several reservation benefits are available in all these entrance tests. The admission process requires no changes as it gets varied upon college to college.

Yes. For admission to IMt, I had to first write the CAT exam which itself is very difficult to crack. After that, in several colleges, GD is arranged where topics are general so that everyone can speak. GDs are optional in many colleges. But, interviews are a must for all management institutes. After the interview, several lists depending on your scores are released. Students have to wait for months to see whether they are selected for that particular institute or not. My coaching institute was quite good as they used to conduct sessions and mock GD-PI sessions.
