Course Curriculum Overview
I chose it because I didn't crack NEET and I had to opt for any of the courses related to the Health Sector because I want to see my career as a Health Care Professional. IQ CITY MEDICAL COLLEGE being a Prominent institution in East India has a great Ration between faculty & students. Because this Institution Follows all the Guidelines Set by NMC. And yes faculties are highly qualified and professional. But definitely not everyone. Some of them have good qualifications but not the zill to teach students. They are just exploiting the time & resources of everyone including themselves, ours & obviously the Institute. Our Semester Exam frequency is once a year. Being a medical student it's definitely tougher to pass and tedious to complete all the syllabus.
Fees and Financial Aid
IQ City Medical College has a Great infrastructure of 100 acres and 850 bedded hospital so they charged Most in the state for those courses compared to any other colleges. Yes, we have applied for Aikyashree Scholarship & also General Category has applied for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. But yet didn't receive the money. I hope we will get the job on campus but for those courses Govt Jobs are more reliable than in the Private sectors due to sallary and work life balance issues
Campus Life
Our College Organises RICORRENZA FEST, last year it was held in December. The prominent Guest Performers are Dr. Kumar Vishwas & team Singer Amit Mishra & team. Held for long three days, which were quite impressive. Our library contains High Varieties of Books but the problem is most of them are not for Lending we have to sit & read there. Classrooms are Well listed, and ACs, are equipped enough. Yes there are playgrounds including Football Cricket & Basketball & there were also facilities for Indoor Games like Table Tennis and Billiards but that particular hall room has been broken down this year in February month due to a shortage of Classrooms.
Admission
Right Now I'm pursuing Bsc Critical Care Technology (CCT) at IQ CITY Medical College Hospital which is affiliated with WBUHS. Actually to get into this college one can go through three processes. Candidate has to Appear in the JENPAS UG examination which is an entrance exam taken by WBJEEB. After that, if ranked fair then opt for the Counselling process & then after completion of The process he or she can get admitted to the course & college candidate has been selected. If Candidate, just appeared in the JENPAS UG exam & doesn't make counselling but has a rank card he/she also can take admitted to the Pvt or Semi-govt colleges like IQ City by approaching the college directly within the admission tenure. There's a 25% quota for every Private college affiliated with WBUHS which can take admission directly into the college without any Rank Card or Counselling process but for this Candidate has to register on the JEMAS UG portal. Those are the ways of Admission.
