Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I like Computer programming. Faculty, student ratio is 1:80. We have many great qualified faculties who have achieved a lot in their lives and go on inspiring us to achieve higher. Term exams are very difficult and hectic. But very few people fail.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't yet got any internships. But as per what I have heard, getting internships is difficult. Only some students who have good skills, and projects get internships. But many paid internships are always available. Though, I won't recommend them.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year. Almost every big and small MNC visits KIIT. No idea about the no. Of offers made. The highest package at kiit was 52 lakh and the average was 7.8 this year. I don't remember the companies. 100% of students get placed. I have no plans as of now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are not at all justified. They don't provide enough facilities irrespective of the high fees. I am still studying there, so I can't say about jobs and stipend. But some students get a scholarship if they score well in KIITEE. Top 100 maybe.
Campus Life
The annual fests and tech fests don't have any specific names, but they generally happen in December or February. The libraries at KIIT are the best. There's no book you won't find here! The classrooms are really good; spacious, air conditioner and digitally equipped. Sports and Extra curriculum activities are open to all and people with talent get the chance to shine. There is KSAC, KIIT Student Activity Centre which runs numerous clubs and societies run by students who participate and perform.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are great. Meal quality is good too. Very rarely do we get any complaints about food and rooms. The hostels are quite affordable and the registration process is easy too. I don't have any idea about renting and PG
Admission
I took the entrance exam for KIITEE. The application form and all details about the exam are found on the website. In 2021, due to covid, the exam was online. But now, it happens offline at the campus itself. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and the syllabus is the same as the class 12th board.
