Remarks

They have built a trademark "Velammal" don't fall on it. Think twice before entering the Velammal ™ .

Entrance Preview

I joined via Anna University counselling, saw this college was good and had good trademark so chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

First of all it's a theoretical school results oriented Not suitable for knowledge gaining persons. They will urge to complete the syllabus before every exams and they will collect money via the class representative and distribute you Xerox notes.

Internships Opportunities

No. Nothing other than the results. No stipend for the internship made by them. Very poor support from the management team regarding this.

Placement Experience

1.5

Only IT field companies are called for their placements and are not regulated by management team. For the sake of their percentage they will force us to choose the company such as marketing, unrelated field of works. Very very least core companies are called for their placements. No updates from the management before the placements.

College Events

2

The students only ask management team for conducting any events or celebration of symposiums. Management will not care on these things. For the name sake they will conduct symposiums and no IVs in my batch..No support from the management team for the event..

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very expensive fees structure for the common man families. You will be wounded at the end after losing the money. Poor management with concentration only on money collection.. Be prepared to pay fine for breaking the college rules and breakage fees at the end of the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing They will provide fake offers in the name of scholarships to increase the results in semester exams. Will get money for supporting scholarships from outside.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is ok ..but PET staff will disturb us every time. Management staff with Safari dress also do their job on disturbing the students. You will be punished for speaking with opposite gender. They will conduct events, competitions within their budget for their records only.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel life is awesome. Hostel rules are rigid and wardens are less supportive with the students. Food is ok. But you need to pay huge amount for the hostel fees.

Alumni/Alumna

After passed out from the campus you will not be entered into campus without a strong reason. Then how could you expect alumni association from the management. Don't even expect any support from them after passed out.

Exam Structure

All are pre planned.. They are very systematic regarding the exams as they only keep their name high. You will be wounded how the syllabus was finished before the exam. No proper response from facility's side. If you keep arrears no support from the staffs.. you need to clear by yourself..

Admission

Admitted via Anna University Chennai counselling.. No entrance test at my Time of admission.. If u enter by management you need to pay ?4-8 lac to CEO Mr. Velmurugan. Please don't go by management admission to the college. Don't waste your money in the name of Velammal.

Faculty

2

All are less skilled staffs with poor knowledge on the topics. Will work only for their results oriented growth. None of the professor will teach from the foreign author books. The staffs are the people who are jobless so they chosen the "Professor" for spoiling the lives of young people.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
