Entrance Preview
I took JEE as my entrance examination and I scored 26k rank in my JEE mains.. I opted for this college because it is one of the top ranking nits and it is in my hometown..there will be no interview before the admission.. admissions are based on the scored rank
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I opted for is metallurgy..and it is an upcoming branch as nano technology is the future.. u can gain knowledge about nano technologies and can continue the research on it..the college provides the equipment for research scholars...and the faculty also helps in it
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college provide many internship programmes.many companies visit the college ro recruit students for their internship programmes and the stipend depends on the company.There are atleast three rounds held for the interview.the first is aptitude and the second is about the subject and the third will be the interview.. these internships hel in the further placements.
Placement Experience
Almost ninty percentage of the people of the college get placed.Many companies visit the college.It is difficult to stitch together the names of all the companies that visit the college.somw of the main companies are Google, HTML, Reliance, ITC,.the average package will be six lakhs per annum.But it is not exact as the amount depends on the company and it always varies with every year
College Events
There are two fests held in the college.one in the odd semister and one in the even semister.The technical fest of the college is the second largest fest in south india.And it is called TECHNOZION.The students are the main part of the fest and the preparations get started from minimum of 4 months before the fest.Many guest lecures are arranged with the top most professors of the country and the nights are filled with entertainment by proshows and all.And coming to the cultural fest it is called SPRINGSPREE.There are many fun filled events throughout three days and many students from allover the country visit the college during fests
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee Structure is a bit expensive but banks provide you with loans and you get many types of scholarships which are helpful.It is seventy thousand per annum for me but in the recent years it has increased to ninty thousand per annum.There will be no fee for SC and ST category students and if you get good grades the college will give you merit scholarship.

The college provides merit scholarship based on the grades of the studenta.You also get state scholarships.Banks also provide you with the loans needed.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is abou sixty to forty.Many parties are held in the college.DJ nights are organised by the student council.Workshops on matlab and other softwares are also held.Tou can show your exoerimental knowledge in Innovation garage.There are various clubs in college like music club, dance ckub, painting ckub,film club.. etc.you can get to see different people of different religions places and countries.so there will be so many cultures in the college.Every year there will be elections held to select the branch representative,class representative and the president of the college.
Hostel Facilities
The mess food is quite good and it satisfies the people of all regions.But it is different for girls and boys.The girls mess is contract based and the boys mess is handles by the college.Boys has three types of mess one for non vegetarians one for vegetarians and one with both.There will be minumum of two curries fruit or salad provided.There will be a special mess once per month.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumnis of the college will always be in touch by the alumni group.The provide guidance to many students of the college by their valuable advices amd seniors in college are more like friends and they help in all aspects like how to prepare fot the exams placements and all.
Exam Structure
The timetable differs for every day of the week and you will get 2 half days and weekoff for Saturday and sunday..the schedule is not so hectic.there will be many events held in the college by different clubs and therr will be mostly audi nights or screening movies on the weekend nights which take off all the stress during the week.you can get to participate in events like pebble painting,face painting,treasue hunts which are very fun filled and you can get goodies by winning them.
Admission
I got the notifications from newspaper and there will be a three day councelling programme held in the college through which you get to know how to fill the form and which cerficates are needed...it made my work easy...you need to pay the first sem fee to confirm your admission in the college and there is a bank right beside the college specially for the students...after the first round of online allotment u must report in the college to confirm your admission..if you skip reporting make sure that you are not getting admission for that year...u can get the details of allotment through josaa site..and there are four rounds of allotment and one special round....if you are not satisfied with the branch you got you can go for slide option...or else if you get good grades enough in first year you will have a chance to slide your branch.
Faculty
There are two types of faculties in the college...the temporary faculty are for the first years and they are qualified from highly reputed colleges of India...they will be guided by the head of the departments..and when you enter into second year professors and associate professors will handle the classes.. they are highly qualified from the best colleges all over the world and they also held research programmes...they will guide you to geow up in the field and tell you the extra information needed.
