Remarks

College doesn't own a good playground. College should care for the placement of core branches, Ragging free campus. Seniors are helpful and humble. Juniors give respect.

Entrance Preview

I entered through entrance exam that is WBJEE with rank 10209. This college has very good faculty. No interview is needed to get entry if you have a secure rank. I love mechanics so i choose mechanical engineering course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i have chosen is mechanical engineering. It is not a cup of tea. Teachers are helpful enough. We have so many machines in lab. We do innovative projects. We can choose elective subjects as our own choice.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides vocational training. It was an average one. We were not paid for it.

Placement Experience

For core branches the scenario is poor. Below 20 percent got placed last year. Tcs is the mass recruiter. 3.5 lakh is the average package per anum.

College Events

Avenir , Abahan are our technical fest. An cultural fest Mesmerizer also happens. Many students from different colleges come and join. They rent different places for it. It gets too much crowded. College gives decent contribution for it.

It was costly. It took almost 4 lakhs in 4 years. ( 8 semester)

No college doesn't provide any scholarship. No i haven't avail any. Yes college helps to get loans. I haven't taken loans.

College has few extracurricular activities. In sports section we have cricket and football teams that has won so many trophies.

I am not residing in college hostel. There are few hostel rooms only. They are on sharing. College doesn't have own pg. I pay 6000 per month for my room. The food is below average.

Our department has no alumni till now

Exam Structure

Labs and exams are frequent but the way teachers encourage us , we never get tired. We have maximum attendance in labs.

Faculty

The faculty in teaching is very much qualified. They are too much interactive. Apart of some teachers, maximum teachers are friendly with a great personality.

BCREC a underrated college

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. Placement is okay

I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
