Remarks
Apart from the placements, our college has a reputation for the number of students who prefer higher education. Yearly, a good number of students(30%) write GATE, GRE, and CAT exams. There are also students who opt for other fields like the film industry, entrepreneurship, etc. Our college gives chances to every branch to conduct their own fests. There are a lot of other things like guest lectures, off-campus jobs, US education fairs etc.
Entrance Preview
We have to crack the EAMCET exam below 10k to get into cvr as it is one of the top colleges in Hyderabad. you can also enter through JEE MAINS through B category. I entered into this college by writing eamcet exam and I got 8000 rank and I took EEE branch .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent and it was similar compared to other colleges . We will be having 8 semesters and in this 8 semesters , first semester will be basic one and from second semester the curriculum runs with acceleration . I was happy with our curriculum because it had much practical based learning and this type of learning is important and our college had it.
Internships Opportunities
No the college wont provide you any internship in the campus however they give enough knowledge to apply for internship outside the campus
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities in our college are good and we had the highest package of 18 Laks per annum till know and we had the average package of 4 Laks per annum . The top companies visited our college are Hp, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, CA technologies , HCL , dell , Wipro etc .. our college has improved its standards in the placements area and almost 55-65% of students get placed every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for total year is 2,60,000.it is little bit high but as compared to other private universities like tech mahindra etc it is less only.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes we get the scholarship from government of telangana however some people even get totally free with the help of their caste
Campus Life
Yes the college support students to play different sports such as basketball,football,table tennis,tennis etc. they keep a strict rules for the champions to win the sports fest which will be held in every February.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is too good mess food is also nice actually i must say that our college is the best when compared to any other college non veg is also available in the canteen which many college don't provide i don't stay in hostel so i cannot say what exactly is hostel life but according to my friends in hostel they say that college is very good they don't feel that they are far from home.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is there are 2 semesters in a year. The course is fir 4 years.There are total 8 semesters in a course. Each semester contains 800 marks. The college will release the marks secured in the examination.The percentages are important to attend the interview.Exams labs would be fun no need to worry exams cause you would have enough time to prepare the only problem is assignment assignment would become trouble some when we leave it for granted rest exams labs internals externals everything is fine we will be having 2 mid exams 1 internal and external exams for each semester.
Faculty
The faculty is an important factor which needs to be addressed in every college. Luckily, CVR college has an experienced faculty who have done their Ph.D. and masters. They are very friendly. They give suggestions to the students in times of difficulty. They are knowledgeable and we can know that by their way of teaching and giving real world examples. Through their teaching methods, we are able to understand the concepts in a clear way. The faculty to student ratio is pretty good i.e. 1:30. The college plans to take students to industries every year, which is very helpful for the students. The course curriculum is strong and it is reduced every year by eliminating the less important stuff.
