Remarks

I didn't get any bad remarks about the college. However the overall experience of mine is very good . The college provide me a great platform to increase my skills and knowledge .

Entrance Preview

The admission in the college is through JEE MAIN Entrance Exam. I got admission in the college by securing good marks in the entrance exam. Yes there was an interview before getting admission in the college . I choose BTECH in CSE own. I am having interest in the field of computer which push me to choose this stream from a good college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really very interesting and as my choice of interest. In Northcap university students are provided not only the theoretical knowledge but also the practical knowledge which improve their skill and make them capable to earn money. Yes definitely there are some research paper going on in the college includes technical,humanity and other prospective. The elective courses includes Robotics,Cyber Security which are of my interest also there are management subjects to learn.

Internships Opportunities

Yes college is providing internships to the students in core companies . The average stipend is about 15000 per month .

Placement Experience

The placement percentage at Northcap University is about 95% which is very good. Most of the eligible student have already been placed in the company before completing the graduate. The major companies visited our campus include Microsoft,TCS,OTUM,Deloitte,Nagarro,Reliance etc.

College Events

There are many technical and cultural events going on in the college in every semester. However the main event is MOMENTUM . It is a cultural fest which includes games and technical games also..Yes the college authorities also contribute in every event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure at NCU is bit high. For 1st sem the strating price is 105000 per semester for one year and after that there is an increment of 3% per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college is providing scholarship to the students on the basis of jee main marks. However i get a scholarship of 25% . Yes the college is also providing loan to the student at very cheap interest of about 10%.

Campus Life

The college is also stand in front of the row in extra curricular activity .However i didn't get any opportunity ,.But as of my interest in coding i explore my inner talent in the college.The faculty are also taking part in extra activity as per their interest.

Hostel Facilities

Yes i am residing in hostel . The hostel rooms are very airy and spacious. Single rooms and sharing rooms are both available as per individual choice of interest . The hostel fee is 50000 per semester.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni meetup are going in every 2 months . Yes the college is provide a proper platform for the students to interact with the alumni. Yes the alumni contribute to the overall development of students. For example an alumni of our college is places in hackerrank and provide training to the students of NCU

Exam Structure

Not at all as we are having gap of 1 hour in a day . But definitely on one day in a week there are 2 labs of 2 hour which makes us bored and tired.

The teachers at NCU are having great knowledge and skill in their domain . Most of the faculty at NCU are from foreign university as well as from IIT also. The faculty are having experience not only in teaching but also having the industry experience of 5 years also. The standard of teaching is very appropriate and nice .The teachers are very interactive and helpful . They give theoretical as well as practical knowledge side by side along with the tutorials.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - worth it in the big 26 ?

Likes

The variety of food, books and lush green gardens
The quiet and pleasant places carved feels like home
No need to rush things the warmth in the air and the affordable rates

Dislikes

Due to rural surroundings often things like traffic jams and riots happen
Langauge barriers do occur sometimes but its okay now
Attendance criteria is strict and on-off campus roaming is a little hard

Placement Experience:

Around 4th year 7th semester students are well prepared and ready to go into companies for more insights and experience. Companies like Kia, Indigo, Hero, Honda are quite active in selecting students from our department. After the degree ill prolly do my masters and then ill look fir a job

Campus is very big and many things to explore
We have Good infrastructure and sports grounds
There are many canteens and varieties of food available

Location is not on road it is back side of a village
College is till 5 pm in evening and it gets very hectic

The curiculam is quite good and classes are placed accordingly we have good break in between and its quite enjoyable to attend college regularly The fest and programs are amazing it is good for a student

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

Truth of NCU(The NorthCap University)

I didn't chose this college, I was forced by my parents to join it as they had heard that it was one of the best Engineering colleges in gurgaon. If i knew how the college really is, in my wildest dreams i would not have taken admission in it. I have not got rejection from any college. Admission process is very simple, if you have money you get admission. There is no elegibilty criteria, only money matters here. I applied for IPU but my family didn't wait for the results from that college that am I selected or not. other students of my age were getting admissios so they wanted me to also get admitted as soon as possible. Inside the northcap university- the real deal

I applied only to direct admission colleges i didn't really apply to any but yeah considered the ones near my place like kr manglam and gd goenka, i also thought about amity or bennet which are in noida but i didn't apply to them as they were far and gd goenka and kr manglam were charging more fees . Northcap was the cheapest and the nearest so i applied to this college only. I just filled the admissions form online paid the fees and got admitted as i said its a direct admission college so they take in just anybody but still my class's strength is only 27 lol not a very good college overall but the cheapest sooo.
