What Students Say

Likes

The greenery of the campus the lakes it's architecture
The Bengali beauties offcourse cannot forget

Dislikes

Director and his way of handling the stuff
Director obviously because except him nothing can be disliked

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have already got the interest in joining this type of course later on I found this and joined it without any hesitation because the faculty members are very much experienced and highly well qualified and they took the term examination very strictly which means you have to put your efforts, it is very easy to pass if you are punctual and you don't have any backlog.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

If I talk about my branch which is computer science and technology the placement is very good as the average package is 20. 1lakhs which is the best thing about this course in this college but the civil students reduce the placement therefore college has an average placement of 14 lakhs per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is decent in comparison to private colleges if you are an economically weak candidate then waivers are also there in tuition fees and many scholarships are there the hostel fee is different which is around 55k per year and it has no waiver and you can get to know more about scholarship while concerning with seniors

Campus Life

You don't have to keep your imagination high as in government colleges most buildings are old and the hostels are also very old but this is what makes it different and unique you will enjoy a lot, the sports facilities are good tournaments are held on a regular basis, director show less effort in any of the extracurricular activities but no worry he will be changed

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are not that maintained but no one fetches any problem because you have a washing machine on each floor and you have your own sports equipment and the mess section is also good because students decide the menu which makes it unique if you don't get the hostels then you can get pg nearby which costs you around 5k per month therefore overall very good

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Admission

First, you should score more than 65 percent in the 12th board to access your rank in jee main and advance. I had appeared in jee main and advance, you can go and check the NTA website for the application process then you can check for the update

Likes

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Likes

The discipline is followed very strictly. Also you have access to library which is good, teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
Thery conduct seminars which encourages students. Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms, labs and library .

Dislikes

While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects, real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs, networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The admission process if very simple. One will have to give jee after that they will have to apply for josaa counselling. If they have good enough rank, and they get any branch then they will be have to come to the college on the date specified by the college on their website. The cutoff for general category is usually high. All branches close at around 70k rank(in josaa counselling). In CSAB, they might extend to 1 lakh....Read More
