What Students Say

Likes

Collage campus is very greeny and cleanly environment
campus life is also frinedly and senior also help you in this
Faculity,Placement is also good but is on luck if you are skills student then it is enough and tnp is also support in placement

Course Curriculum Overview

The course content is up to the mark and very helpful and I choose the course that is Information Technology. The faculty-student ratio is also good, if u are good then the teacher will help you 24*7 and also guide you for your future. Qualification of the faculty is different by different like p.hd,m. tech, iitian like that. Exams are at the medium level if you are sincere in the class that is enough for you and read all the notes given by teacher. and the teacher is also friendly with students.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For B.Tech the fee structure is as follows it ranges from 4L to 4.5L and it includes hostel fees, and mess fees. other fees that are 75K include a laptop, book, copy, pen, and other stationary or many things and it is not refundable. Scholarship like by rank if you get a good rank in kiit entrance then the scholarship may vary by 50k like that.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is held by the end of the year and many fest held in the months fest is held by university and senior members. Availability of books provided by the start of the semester and If you can read properly then you can go to the library. Classrooms are fully AC and well designed. Sports organization is also there like cricket, and football also is there, and also mega events for sports organizations. and swimming indoor games are there. there are many social groups you can join if you are interested and you can learn many things.

Admission

You can apply KIIT entrance exam or through JEE Main percentile. There are many courses here like computer science information technology, and electronic. telecommunication, civil, mechanical, electrical, and aerospace are there. I have found the application form through kiit website the application fees are free and the dates may be flexible. Reservation Benefits are not major if u got ranked in 500 then u get a scholarship like 50%,20%, or 10% like that and if are below the poverty level then kiit will help you in this scenario.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
