It was awesome but that has nothing to do with the college.

Remarks

College is fine. One should always strive for more. The attendance is very strict here and hence sometimes hinders with the growth of few studious students. The placement should be improved. More focus should be on practical learning and not theoretical mugging. For anyone getting in here, I'll just say that don't waste this life and start preparing for your future from the beginning. The corporate environment is very competitive and hence don't wait for life to teach you that the hard way. Learn skills and trending technologies through internet or any other sources you find. Keep learning, keep growing.

Entrance Preview

College takes admission through UPSEE and also through management quota. I got in through management quota. I filled a form for the college and after some days they called me for an interview. I got selected after that. Although the branches offered can be limited through this mode of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was an Electronic and communication engineer. The course was offered by the University and was the same for every other college. The college though tried hard to give students practical learning by collaborating with various companies and organizing workshops and training. It was awarded freely to the selected few students based on an unknown criteria.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there were places one could do internship from in college. There were training centers established by companies like National Instruments, Bosch, Microsoft, Siemens, KUKA and others. They were quite expensive though even after offering discounts for college students.

Placement Experience

2

Placement are horrible. College doesn't pay much attention to the placement of every student. They just worry about the toppers. A lot of the guys from my time were unplaced and had to prepare for other exams and opted for pool campus placements. There are very few companies that visit the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was affordable. Hostel fees was preposterous. The facilities could've been more compared to the fees. College used to charge extra for every other thing so that was disappointing.

Hostel Facilities

4

First year hostels are the best. I don't think I've seen them any better anywhere else. For other years it was the same as everyone else's.

Faculty

3.5

Some of them were really knowledgeable but by the time I was in 3rd year a lot of them had left the college and gone for better salaries in lesser colleges. The college pays no attention to the well being of teachers and promoting the worthy ones...be it teachers or students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
