What Students Say
Likes
- Faculty Members and the teaching methods
- College Campus : The campus was not very big but still as only around 1200 students were accepted in the college the 8 acre college always felt like a 100 acre campus
- The affordable fee structure: One of the least fee structure which you can find for the B Tech anywhere in India
Dislikes
- College Canteen: Our college didn't had a good canteen, most of the time the food was expensive and expired.
- Unbalanced ratio: In the college the make female ratio was highly unbalanced don't know why. For a class of 50 students an average of 6 students were female.
Course Curriculum Overview
My preferred college's B Tech program had a very amazing curriculum that was in line with my love of technology. The lab sessions and projects provided students with practical experience in addition to the theoretical knowledge covered in the course. The outstanding teaching members were one of the most important key elements in my satisfying college experience. The instructors were extremely skilled and knowledgeable in their respective disciplines. However, the faculty-to-student ratio is not either good or bad. It's approximately 50 students per faculty (professor) which I feel is not bad at all. The testing process was impartial and unbiased. The exams were rigorous enough to test our knowledge and mastery of the material. One was able to perform well on the examinations with adequate preparations.
Internships Opportunities
Our college mainly provides internship opportunities with a select group of prestigious government organizations, including DRDO, Doordarshan, and NTPC. Although these internships offer beneficial exposure and practical experience in the public sector, the variety of options is constrained. By pursuing partnerships with more varied businesses and other institutions, the college hopes to improve its internship options over time. Although the available possibilities are decent, there is a need to grow and broaden the network of internships in order to better meet the diverse interests and goals of students and give them a more thorough and rewarding educational experience.
Placement Experience
Students can apply for campus placements starting in the fifth semester, and our college draws about 25 companies each year. The lowest package available is as low as 1.2 LPA, and the greatest package is as high as 25 LPA. The average is 5LPA in most of cases. Many students receive potential work possibilities, with an impressive placement rate of around 70%. But after receiving my degree, I've made the decision to pursue further education in order to learn more about my topic of interest and broaden my abilities and knowledge, laying the groundwork for a future job that would be both successful and enjoyable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Unquestionably, one of the most alluring features of the BTech program at my college was its fee structure. The fees was surprisingly reasonable at just 35,000 per year, especially when compared to other colleges providing comparable degrees. One of the most notable aspects of this pricing system was that it opened up higher education to a wider range of students. The college was not providing any specific scholarships, however even though the college didn't provide any special scholarships, many students were nevertheless able to afford it, thanks to the affordable tuition fee.
Campus Life
Anoogunj is our college's annual fest, which is held in April. It is a much-anticipated occasion in which faculty, staff, and students come together for a joyful celebration of skill and creativity. Library: Our college library has a sizable selection of publications that are pertinent to our field of study, including books and journals. Modern conveniences are provided in our classrooms to improve the educational process. Air conditioning creates a cozy atmosphere while digital boards make learning dynamic. Sports facilities for basketball and cricket fans are available on the college site. These competitive team-building activities are incredibly popular among students and encourage healthy competitiveness. In addition, a variety of extracurricular activities are planned all year long to encourage pupils to discover their interests and abilities. At last, "AIEEE," one of the most well-known student organizations on campus, is dedicated to electronics and offers a forum for students.
Admission
I took the GGSIPU exam as a part of my college admission process and I secured a good rank that allowed me to get a desired seat in the GGSIPU college of my choice which was Ambedkar Insititute Of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research (Now NSUT East Campus). In 2017 the GGSIPU used to take an exam for admission to different colleges of engineering which is now merged with JEE MAINS. As I was a general candidate the cutoff for most of the good colleges always remains under 5000 for general candidates and around 2 lakh candidates appear for exams every year. The application process went without a hitch for both exam and the college, and the college personnel was helpful in assisting me with the required papers and procedures. I was excited enough to join the college.
