Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because of the high-quality placements this university offers. Moreover, the detailed knowledge of the subject and core engineering, the faculty-to-student ratio is decent i.e. every faculty to 30 students, so you can get the attention of your professor easily and can get ur doubts solved comparatively quickly, most of the faculty is helpful barring some bad apples. The exams were closely spaced, so you have to be regular in classes and studying, it's a hectic schedule, it was not that difficult to pass but it's difficult to get an appreciable score here, it is a rigorous course but in the end, the placement you get is a good reward for your hard work

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Not going to lie, I don't have alot of knowledge of the internship opportunities with stipends here, but I do know that they offer alot of internships you would have to be alert because they came and went very quickly. Internships with stipends are quite difficult to crack but what's a mountain that cannot be trekked? it can go upto 30 lakh for 3 months of internships but the avg is lower than that

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are decent, almost every other student gets placed, it's like easy to get placed but hard to get placed in a good package. the percentage of students getting placed is more or less about 90%. The highest package is from ENC about 51.5 lakhs per annum. while the avg placement is 10 lakhs of cse branches. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed in a good company and then after a job for 2 yrs, I wanna go for Mba in Germany. After semester 6, the students are eligible for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course tuition fee is 2.2 lakhs per semester without a hostel and mess fee. which is almost 5.5 lakhs per year. Furthermore, the fees are incremented a 10% every year (mandatory). Although they do have a good system of scholarship opportunities, I myself get about 1.3 lakhs of scholarships in the very first year itself, it is based on the top 10% of students of every branch getting scholarships and in the first year it is based on JEE percentile. if you stay well scholarship of 4 lakhs per year is possible

Campus Life

4.5

There are countless events here, I can't even name all of them, there are so many. But to name the biggest and most awaited one, the annual fest is Saturnalia which happens in the first week of November, there are multiple tech societies with their own tech fests, that include Orion tech fest, Owasp tech fest and many more. approx 8-10 tech fests. Campus Life is amazing here, you just have to get out of your hostel and you'll get involved in anything you like, it's like on any given day, something or another event is going on and you can just go and volunteer for work or participate or maybe just sit and enjoy, alot of musicians just sitting and performing for you, dancing, alot of sports grounds always filled up with students playing and they all are not close friends too, you just have to go and ask if you wanna join and Voila! you now are enjoying college life, it's very easy to make friends here. There are alot of meme pages and society pages on Instagram. In conclusion, it's amazing.

Admission

The admission was 50% through Boards marks and the remaining 50% through Jee percentile. the application form was on their website itself, overall the admission process was very smooth and was done mostly online only

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
